Not gonna lie, we ended up here accidentally. We prefer local spots, so lots of places were closed for Xmas week. Boy did we luck out! The atmosphere was very comfortable for me, my teens & my septuagenarian parents. The servers were personable, the owner visited & had a real conversation. They even did the perfect birthday thing for my 18 year old (not to embarass them, but they felt special). Best of all, the food was AMAZING! We got gumbo, shrimp & grits, seafood platter, shrimp creole - all of it was delicious! Definitely recommend!

We stopped in for lunch and we're served two great oyster Po-boys with sweet potato fries and beer. The food was delicious, and the waitstaff friendly. We'll be back!

Such a warm and home-y atmosphere. The scampi was absolutely delicious and don’t skip on the dessert! Can’t wait to come back.

The Oysters Rockefeller melted in my mouth! The staff were very friendly and suggested local places that we would want to go. Sweet potato fries were crispy, but be sure to ask for cinnamon because they come with just salt. The mango margaritas went down too easy!

Alijah and Amy are serious chefs serving up delicious food in the low country. The crab cakes were the best I've ever had. The shrimp and grits was excellent.

The hush puppies tho.. the honey butter! Yummy 😋

Parking: Park under the old oak, watch the Spanish moss flow in the wind. Perfect

Kid-friendliness: The toddler loved it and all the attention he received.. he loves people and attention. Also enjoyed trying everyone's plate.

Cashe took good care of all her tables. My chicken livers were very good. Crispy on the out tender within. Quiet the cast of characters to keep us entertained too.
Just a suggestion, people think of white gravy when they think of the South. It would be wonderful to have some to dip the chicken livers in.

Wish could give no star. Too bad our experience was nothing like the other reviews. We have been driving by this place since it opened, and if only we'd kept driving. Started out great, then when to crap. Ordered the BBQ sliders w their"famous" southern sauce made with Cheerwine. Tasted like Kraft, which is not BBQ sauce, especially in the south. Meat was overdone and dry even after I added sauce. Also ordered the burger with pimento cheese bc there's no other way to eat a burger in the south. Waitress was so off for whatever reason. Swaying on her feet, eyes so glassy they would shine like stars in the night. Comes back says we have no more pimento cheese. To which I replied, "You just opened, and you are already out, or you never had it to begin with." Cancel the order. Ordered hush puppies and they were so cold and under done that they were white on the outside. Then the waitress is standing at our table as we are attempting to eat and places the bill on the table, continues to stand there, then says are you ready to take care of that at which point my hubs is in the middle of taking a bite of leather like BBQ, wipes his hands, stands up and gets his money out to pay her. So sketch. Never again. Do yourself a favor and keep driving by.

Pricey for the quality of food. Service great. Fried shrimp good but over cooked, Red rice was Terrible, mushy with no taste. Stewed yellow squash and onion, mushy with a burnt grease taste. Very over rated!
