the flavor of the food is not correct to profile. old fashioned made extremely overpoured not muddled. pasta came with a puddle of wine in the bottom of the plate, I returned after one bite (they then expected me to pay for it after she said she'd remove it from the bill, stating well some people still pay for it.) negative.. steamed oysters are a) not local b) not steamed correctly. shrimp overcooked and also, not local. had to reorder wine twice! collards are improperly seasoned , macaroni was extremely bland. and the lima beans you can taste were burnt. the worst $500 I have ever spent in a restaurant. and I will not be returning. I choose extraordinary restaraunts for ratings and this was just not satisfactory. I wish them the best.
Enjoyed it!! Will come back.
Family of 7 excited to try a new place - empty tables but was told they were short staffed and it woukd be a 45 minute wait. That would have been ok except the way it was told to us like having 7 people was an inconvenience for them. We left and went to a friendlier restaurant down the road who was happy to have our business.
We love High Tides! The Service and food is always great and the bartender (Jerry) is fantastic!
Restaurant with a nice view, friendly personnel and food is ok.
Parking: There is parking lot by the restaurant, but it can fill up fast if it gets busy.

So sad I didn’t grab a picture but everything was excellent. Our group had fried shrimp, tomato pie, mac & cheese, Lima beans…all were excellent. We also had great drinks, the beach mule, pineapple martini, and toasted coconut punch all also great! But none of these compared to our exceptional server Rachel. This is a must visit when on the island.

My nieces love for me to take them to High Tides. Our meals have always been great!
Their low country boil and oysters are very good. Had great service both times we went.

Food is alright, it’s kind of boring. Let me know when it goes back to Ms Mary’s menu and the old dockside and I’ll be back then.

The service was good and the food had good flavor but was cold. Sent the food back and 20 minutes later it came back colder than before. Like they pulled it out of the refrigerator.
Had the fried pork chop and fried shrimp. The cold crab dip for appetizer. Service was okay, she did her best for how many tables she had. The food was just not anything special.
