4 visits 4 different meals excellent service each time!
Had great cocktails and dinner here. Try the Cucumber Refresher after a hot day! It was a little loud but the food and service were worth it. We had the Seafood Tower ($35) for our appetizer. It was beautiful and well worth the price. I hate I forgot to take a picture. My husband had fried oysters and had his fill. There were probably 14-16 oysters on his plate. Loved the homemade She Crab Soup. It was authentic Low Country. Come here-you won’t be disappointed!
the flavor of the food is not correct to profile. old fashioned made extremely overpoured not muddled. pasta came with a puddle of wine in the bottom of the plate, I returned after one bite (they then expected me to pay for it after she said she'd remove it from the bill, stating well some people still pay for it.) negative.. steamed oysters are a) not local b) not steamed correctly. shrimp overcooked and also, not local. had to reorder wine twice! collards are improperly seasoned , macaroni was extremely bland. and the lima beans you can taste were burnt. the worst $500 I have ever spent in a restaurant. and I will not be returning. I choose extraordinary restaraunts for ratings and this was just not satisfactory. I wish them the best.
I get that you can charge whatever you want for drinks on an island with limited options; but $10 a piece + tax + credit card service fee for two well vodkas (Bloody Mary & one with grapefruit juice) = $24 is a bit much. Made worse because the indifferent bartender seemed like he would rather be doing anything else but bar tend. Since the bartender didn't seem to care if we were there or not we decided we didn't care either, left and went to Waterfront. Great bartender, better drink prices, excellent food.
Food is exelent she crab soup is to die for good. The cornbread is the best I've ever had. Service is first class will be back!!!!!
Stopped in to try. Food was amazing- blackened mahi was yummy. The special was flounder with a seafood cream sauce over delicious bed of local grits. Allen the new chef rocked it! Jerry the bartender kept our drinks flowing! Highly recommend - we will definitely be back!!
We enjoyed our dinner there. The tiramisu cheesecake was to die for. had the soup, it was really good. ordered a side of crab, didn't get much for the extra $16. the country fried steak was awesome. Sabrena was the most awesome waitress! thanks for the hospitality!
Enjoyed it!! Will come back.
Family of 7 excited to try a new place - empty tables but was told they were short staffed and it woukd be a 45 minute wait. That would have been ok except the way it was told to us like having 7 people was an inconvenience for them. We left and went to a friendlier restaurant down the road who was happy to have our business.
We love High Tides! The Service and food is always great and the bartender (Jerry) is fantastic!

So sad I didn’t grab a picture but everything was excellent. Our group had fried shrimp, tomato pie, mac & cheese, Lima beans…all were excellent. We also had great drinks, the beach mule, pineapple martini, and toasted coconut punch all also great! But none of these compared to our exceptional server Rachel. This is a must visit when on the island.
