Sad to find our favorite coffee shop closed. Certainly hope it is temporary! Everything is always great!
We came by the coffee shop today (21st of December) they were supposed to be closed but they still served us some lovely espressos as everything was pretty much closed at this time of the year. Very grateful indeed. Thanks again!
Everything and everyone is great. The only down side, and i don't know if it's something they can fix, is that it's extremely warm inside the restaurant. I have to sit outside. It's the only way i can eat there.
Opens at 8 but had no muffins or pastries. Had regular coffee ready but had to wait for any other drink. We asked about decaf and were told that they would have to brew it first. We asked how much time it would take them and they responded "well we don't have to go out and pick the beans". So we went elsewhere.
Update: came back 6 months later. Still delicious, still great service. Glad this place is here.Great coffee & good conversation. Definitely worth stopping in. Interesting menu for other drinks, sandwiches too.
We were thrilled to see a dedicated coffee place at Edisto. The decor is cute and cozy and they have serious coffee equipment. We did not try any of the baked goods, but I have to say they looked appealing. Unfortunately our coffee was really not good. We went two different days and tried different things (cappachino, latte, americano, iced) but the barista knowledge was just not there. The staff was really nice and eager to please, but it just doesn't look like the training is there. Hopefully something they will work on as I would LOVE to have a solid coffee spot on the beach.
Such a cute coffee spot! We highly recommend the frappes, but their regular drip coffee is delicious too. The owners are so friendly, definitely stop by if you're in the area!
Left my wallet, which had a sizesble amount of cash, drivers license, credit cards, debit cards etc at One Four Coffee in Edisto (our favorite breakfast spot) this morning. Once I realized it was missing, they were already closed. Thanks to some help from Sheila Campbell Griffin and Steve Griffin who confirmed it was there from a Facebook post, I got in touch w Chad the owner, who met me hrs after they closed to give me my wallet back, with all contents inside. In addition to having great food and coffee (and I’m sure everything else I haven’t tried), that show the character of the ownership and their care for customers and people in general. Thanks so much Chad. We love your store and look to continue to see you and your staff on every visit!!
Loved this little spot for a min of peace and a really good tropical smoothly. Smelled so good like fresh coffe. Grab a piece of the cheese cake while your there. It's AMAZING! We loved it so much we went back for breakfast before we left. Enjoy the BEST homemade croissant with bacon egg and cheese. My kids had cinnamon rolls and LOVED them. Would recommend to any and everyone! Stop on by and try them out! We will be back!
Fantastic cafe! My husband and I stopped in twice during our vacation. The frozen coffees are great, and the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant was so good. The cinnamon bun was also very good with great icing. The owner is very pleasant :) Will definitely be coming back again next year! Thank you for a great experience!

This is a really good place for breakfast on the island. Their croissants (we had bacon, egg and cheese) are yummy, and their homemade cinnamon rolls are delicious! We tried more than one breakfast spot on Edisto Island, but this was the only one that earned a repeat visit.
An excellent little hidden gem in Edisto. The food is excellent, freshly baked croissants and biscuits, delicious coffee drinks (also they have key lime pie and smoothies that we will try next time), very reasonably priced, and a great vibe inside the restaurant. The club sandwich looked really good as well for lunch. They offer both inside and outdoor seating. The owner also was very friendly and appreciative of our business.
We stop in for coffee on our way to the beach. We ordered four coffee and a smoothy. We ask which was which and the girl just shrugged her shoulders. We contacted the shop later and the owner is just rude and careless about his customers. Look at his reviews and his response to complaints. Will never go back to this coffee shop. I will stop and get gas Station coffee before I give this place my money again.
THE best croissant I’ve had here in the U.S. Rivals some of the best ones I’ve had in Europe - light and flakey. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant is a bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it (my wife and I actually split one they’re so big). Excellent coffee as well. Owner is very friendly and obviously takes great pride in his food and restaurant.
The coffee here was so good we came back three days in a row, it was quick and consistent. We appreciated the hospitality while we enjoyed our coffee and mimosas. Chad, in particular, was very kind! Definitely recommend to anyone in the Edisto area.-The Mimosa People :)
