1.5 hour wait for a pizza on Father’s Day! They never said how long the wait was going to be when we ordered. Also gave a decent tip when we ordered the pizza. I thought that tips were for good service? When we asked about the wait they all of a sudden put up a white board sign indicating a 1.5 hour wait. Shady business practice IMO. We probably received our pizza in about an hour but didn’t appreciate the lack of transparency. Pizza quality was fair, I like to support local businesses but this was not a good experience. I think would not come back unless I didn’t have another option

best pie and specialty sandwiches by far on Edisto

Family has waited over 2 hrs for food!!!! And the food was crazy greasy!!!!salad sucked just lettuce and tomato and a few cucumbers!!!!Sherry Walden is the name on the order we ordered at 508 and didn't get our order till 708 is when we received the text message

We waited an hour for our pizza. It was not what we ordered. It was also not cooked. So, I had to remove half of what was on the pizza, add cheese and cook it after paying $63.00 for 2 mediums. It tasted like crap! I would eat any frozen pizza over this pizza place any day of the week!!!!

Down here for vacation, craving pizza on a Friday night and was not disappointed one bit! Everything was absolutely terrific, a must have when you're down here!

Pizza was good. The split pizza needed a bit longer higher temp cook. All in all, the pizza was worth the value. Would recommend again and will purchase again.

Went to the beach to see the sunset tonight while celebrating the Xmas holiday in Edisto, which has become our family tradition. On a whim, stopped by Locals and ordered a cheese pie at the window. Drove around the island looking at the beautifully decorated homes and holiday lights, and then got a prompt text AND call 15 minutes later to let me know it was done. Picked it up and was even asked if it looked good to me and met expectations. It did! It was cooked perfectly, the crust was just enough thickness but not too dough-like, the cheese to sauce ratio was on point, and our family devoured it. No leftovers! 10/10 would recommend.

Got there early to wait for my pizza. They were very nice about it, and even offered me a drink. The pizza came out early, and was delicious. Surprisingly met a lot of Vol fans eating there too.

Pizza was delicious and was ready 15 minutes prior to schedule! I got a text when it was ready to pick up. Technically I ordered a supreme and got the sizzlin Seabrook but it was good anyways, so long as you like spicy pizza. We also got the Italian!

We wanted something different than seafood and decided on pizza. We called to make sure they were open. It was just a very short drive from our cottage. We called in advance to order and waited the said time before going to pick up. Payment is expected in advance which was fine for us. Evidently people have a habit of ordering and not picking up so (to me) this is the perfect solution to keep this place running smoothly. The owner was extremely nice to my son on the phone. We had two large pizzas and each were soooooo good. There is a lot of cheese on top and lots of toppings. It was one of our best meals in Edisto ( we usually cook our own) and there was a coin toss to see who got the left over pizza. Great food. (I think it is takeout only - my son picked up so not sure....).

Wanted a night off from cooking while on our family beach vacation, and Local’s was just a couple blocks from our house. Great choice - ordering was easy, got finished quickly, and the pizzas themselves were awesome. Always nice when pizza isn’t cigarette-ash encrusted wood fired bogus that are everywhere these days. These are just good, classic pizzas. Lots of cheese, lots of toppings, generous slices. We got supreme, pepperoni, and cheese, and fed 10 or so. Save yourself the trouble and drop by Local’s on your next trip down.
