Tortuga's Mexican Grill

You have to order on a screen so it's a little harder for questions and such. Food was great though. Few tables inside and picnic tables outside for bigger groups.

I tried to leave another review on Google, but it wouldn’t let me. I left a 5 star review before, and I wish I could leave a 10 star review this time! My family and I came here to eat dinner and we all agreed this was easily our favorite meal on the island after coming here for years. My in-laws said it was the best guacamole they’d ever had. 10/10 would recommend!!

I will say the food was super delicious and the staff super great! The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is the portion was the size for a 10 year old child and it cost 17 dollars.

Great food. Even for an old soul on a cloudy day. At least, I think so.

**DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY **. The prices are terrible, the foods even worse, and to top it off the staff sucks as well. This place is completely self serve and if you need assistance ordering or just asking a simple question, they act like it’s a problem. There are many great places to eat at on edisto island but this is not one, I highly recommend you go spend your hard earned money on some food that is worth it.

Replying back to your comment, what comes out of my mouth is irrelevant, my language has nothing to do with how terrible your customer service is, along with the outrageously high prices, and how yall skimp on everything. Ive never been to a restaurant where I was given a piece of aluminum foil to wrap my food with instead of a to go box. Obviously you guys know nothing about serving the public or you wouldn’t be replying back with smart comments lol.

Way to expensive, guacamole was very good.

The worst pork carnitas and chorizo I've ever had. Salt was the only flavor.

We haven't been to Tortuga's in a couple of years but we ordered online today and man, was it AMAZING as always! Definitely recommend the quesabirria tacos. 10/10

Great food. Best home made taco sauce ever! If they ever sell it on line I would order a bottle a month. Don't miss this place if you are ever in edisto island

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. Prices are comparable to other places around it and the food is great. You order your food at kiosks (which I actually prefer), but the staff is also available and friendly if you have any questions. Highly recommend you try the salsa. Also, my 5 year got the mexican-beef tacos and talked about them for 2 days. Definitely the restaurant to stop at if you are in the area for any length of time.

This is a quick place to eat. All the tacos that we tried when we ate there twice were good. I like to jalapeno sauce. Two tacos were enough fill us up. Some May have a bigger appetite.
