This place is great. The staff were super welcoming. The food was amazing and incredibly crafted. The prices were a little more than I hoped, but I get it in the current economy. They updated some of the prices in their system but not on the menu and when I brought it to their attention, they refunded me the difference right away. I love it when a business is quick to own their mistakes and correct it.
Our first visit to Chicanas. It is relatively new and very well appointed. Lots of interior decorations. The service was outstanding, the server was very attentive. The food delivery was a little slow. There are several Tex-Mex restaurants nearby and the competition will be fierce.
My daughter and I had the chicken and carnitas sopes! I expected them to be a lot smaller but they were bigger than my hand so we could only finish one of each. Super flavorful and loaded with meat, beans and veggies.
The service could be a bit better due to the fact that the waitress didn’t know much about their own menu. Not sure if she was new but I really didn’t expect that!
