The Cornbread Cafe in Elgin feels like a family dinner. The staff are very friendly and the service is amazing. Food is top notch and absolutely delicious. The special southern etouffee is wonderful with perfectly cheesy grits, tender steak and beyond delicious gravy. The fried chicken steak with sausage gravy, Mac and cheese and seared green beans are also great options. The daily specials keep the regular menu packed with great options and real TLC. Prices are not bad and the atmosphere is great. Family felt the meal cooked to perfection with love and served with assurance and joy. The brunch and breakfast with flair and the southern breakfast is a good options. Family will definitely be back with family and friends because the food and hospitality are second to none.
