This restaurant checked all of the boxes, for their category of culinary selections. In the top two country cooking restaurants I know of anywhere. I would rate them a Michelin star plus.“

“Gumlog Brewery has been such a fun addition to downtown Lavonia. Even though we don’t drink, I love their wine slushes and their pretzels with cheese dip — so good! They’ve brought such a great energy to downtown with evening events and a fun atmosphere for the community. It’s been really nice to see our town have more places to gather and enjoy time together.“

“My fiance and I stopped in last night for a quick bite and a little country music bingo. We ended up leaving having one of the most fun nights I can remember. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming, from the staff to the customers. We were only expecting to stay an hour but ended up staying most of the night. yall treated and made us feel like we'd been coming there forever. im sad we're leaving for our next contract but if we ever come through this area again, we will absolutely be back- i just wish we'd found yall sooner! Thank you for the yummy food, the wonderful southern hospitality, the endless laughs and amazing little memory we got to make on one of our last nights here!!! “I wish I could give Moriah and this store 100 stars!!! We were in the area for a funeral and due to some impending weather many of the people planning to help provide for the luncheon after the service were not comfortable being out with a storm coming. While totally understandable, this left us scrambling the night before to come up with a way to serve lunch to 40-60 people. We were freaking out! CB and Moriah came through in a big way assuring they could make it happen and get it delivered to the church for the luncheon on time and they did just that. So incredibly grateful for the kindness and execution in our time of need! Well done!“

“Today we stopped in and ordered take out. 2 cheeseburgers and chili cheeseburgers! We took the food home to enjoy and it was still hot and the fries were still crispy and had just the right amount of salt!!!! The employees were nice and even brought the food to my car while I was waiting on it!!! This was our 3rd visit and we will be back!“

“We love to go to Gumlog. They have the best catfish around. Steaks are great, they are so tender that they just melt in your mouth. Waitress's are so friendly they make you want to come back. All around it is one of the best places around to eat“

“Couple of days ago we went to get our stuff out. We were tired driving from nc to sc but soon as we got there everything changed . Mr. Paul greeted us with so much respect, understanding. Answered all of our questions, helped us. While waiting another costumer showed up. He was greeted with respect also. Mr. Paul took care of us as other workers from this storage didn’t , especially when you call and they pretty much hang up on you while pretending to answer your question. Mr. Paul is a pro , if I could I would leave Tenn stars for him. He’s so respectful , helpful, cheerful and so nice. Not only as a worker but as a human . Thank you Mr. Paul for the great experience, understanding and help . Because of you we know we made the right choice getting this storage units . Yall need to promote this guy ! He’s the BEST ! Overall the storages are clean , spacious and climatized .“

“I had to seat myself X5 people came in after I did and ordered my food BTW. They received their food prior to mine. I asked the waitress about my food. She then gave my food 20mins later. Everything was COLD! grits w/lumps cold, bacon cold, cheese eggs cold, the toast was old/cold! I spoke with the waitress and left NO TIP! WORST W/H EVER!!!“
