“Always a nice meal here. Our server Hali was very attentive and helpful. We skipped apps, and our salads were fresh and tasty. My 7oz filet was cooked perfectly (blue, the way I like it, and few restaurants get it right). The risotto was creamy and the broccoli rabe was nicely seasoned and not over cooked. The Cab Franc paired perfectly with my entree. My partner got the swordfish that was also perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The chips and guacamole really didn’t add anything to the dish, however, but it was fine. The dry Riesling was a nice pairing with this. We were seated not too far from the bar area. We forgot about Jazz on the Ally Thursday nights so it was packed and the bar area started to become very loud. Unfortunately there are quite a few privileged people in this area that feel being publicly drunk and obnoxiously loud is acceptable, even in a nicer restaurant. This isn’t the restaurants’ fault but it certainly impacts the quality of the atmosphere. Even Hali offered us a free dessert to make up for the interruption it caused, but we paid for our desserts anyway. We did suggest that there be automatic sliding doors fitted so that the noise could be contained in the bar area leaving the diners to enjoy their meals. Our desserts were also delightful. We had the banana brûlée and strawberry brûlée. Overall it was a very nice meal with very good service (which is hard to come by in this area).“

“My fiance and I stopped in last night for a quick bite and a little country music bingo. We ended up leaving having one of the most fun nights I can remember. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming, from the staff to the customers. We were only expecting to stay an hour but ended up staying most of the night. yall treated and made us feel like we'd been coming there forever. im sad we're leaving for our next contract but if we ever come through this area again, we will absolutely be back- i just wish we'd found yall sooner! Thank you for the yummy food, the wonderful southern hospitality, the endless laughs and amazing little memory we got to make on one of our last nights here!!! Tyler, I wish you and your crew much success, you have a great little spot and amazing people there!!! ❤️👌“

“I think that I have eaten at most of the Mexican restaurants in the area and I can say hands down, this place serves the best chicken fajitas and it is not even close. From the outside this place does not stand out enough and that concerns me. Food is just outstanding, but they need more visibiity“

“went june 17th at 630. The food was good. The staff, girls at order desk and server, were rude. They chose to play Big Block jinga with a male patron and stay on their phones instead of doing anything else. after several games of blocks slamming on the table and floor right behind us we asked them to please stop. the male said f' them. They stopped for a while but then started again and they found this funny. These were employees, not patrons. when my friend asked the server why didnt anyone ask if we needed anything or at least ask if everything was okay, her reply was "they weren't that kind of restaurant". this was after WE had to push 2 tables together, wipe the water from the rain off the tables and seats while the employees watched. And after we had spent over $200. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! I am not a "Karen " i just expect decent service for my money!!!!“

“The staff was really sweet and had a smile on their face constantly. The inside was clean and full of clemson memorabilia and photos and as an advent clemson fan.. I loved. The food was amazing and pretty affordable. I truly dont understand how it wasnt busier than it was with the prices and food. All in all we got 4 hot dogs, fries and drinks totalling around $22 which is amazing for all that. If you like hot dogs and havent tried them yet I fully recommend it“

“Good food, good atmosphere! Dark lighting that makes it feel more fine dining. They have an early bird menu and lunch special menu for a cheaper lunch. The salads and soups are good. My husband loves the she-crab soup. We had to wait a while to be seated and to get our food, but the staff were friendly and apologized for the wait. There is a sign on the door saying max table size is 7, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to come with a group.“

“The absolute best Waffle House I’ve ever been to. Wonderful, friendly staff, clean restaurant, and fast service. The food was excellent; I sat at the bar and watched the staff work as a team, like a well oiled machine. It’s truly rare in today’s time to see a team like the one I witnessed this morning. 10/10 recommend.“

“Ok, so our server was amazing. Patient, kind, answered questions, very sweet, attentive to the table, and helpful when an order was egregiously wrong.
Food- it all felt... Pre manufactured. First the pasta was gross. Like gummy. A burger supposed to be well-done came out very unswr-cooked. Literally raw and cold in the middle and the outside was charred. I think the grill has hot spots or was overly hot.
Bartender was on point! Made drinks extremely well.“

“Eat here almost every Friday. Food is really good and the staff sometimes work short handed and they work hard to take care of everyone in a timely fashion. I thank each of you for your service.“

“We went here today for appetizers despite the poor reviews and I'm glad we did. It took a little over 5 minutes for us to be acknowledged and given menus but the server was very pleasant. We ordered the pickle fries and onion rings which took longer than it should have, maybe 25 minutes. The server apologized for that and said they're short staffed in the kitchen. The fried pickles were probably the best I've ever had, so much better than pickle chips or a big fried dill pickle. The onion rings were great but I feel like for the price we should have had double what we were given, there were maybe 8 rings. The atmosphere was great, it was nice to be able to sit in the shade and see the lake.“

“Very lively venue with reasonable prices for food and drinks. Jordan was a great bartender and Diane was wonderful as she put up with my messing around with her about the menu and why my visiting brother got the opportunity to pay for our drinks and meals instead of me as host. Our group was all very happy with their meals, and Britain(sp?) was very friendly and helped us loosen our lines and back out of the dock. All in all a very enjoyable experience.“

“As a wife of an engineer in the Nuclear Power industry I know first hand what it's like to live in a hotel for months on end. Many of his crew works night shift and Jim has been there himself. You get off work at 4 or 5 am and nothing is open. You can't shut your stomach off so you're left with gas station or vending machine food. Very small refrigerators in the hotel rooms so you can't stock up on much other than some deli meat and cheese. Yesterday while visiting my husband on the road, we stopped at one of our favorite places in Seneca The Spot on the Alley. They were closed, or so we thought. Just as we turned to walk away from the locked door a man came and unlocked it. He let us in and explained they were just finishing up a few renovations. He kept apologizing and if we didn't mind them cleaning up they could serve us shortly. He said they were running odd hours due to the outage and decided to get a few things done in between the busy hours. I told him we just wanted to get an appetizer as we already had dinner plans but we were hungry and it would be a few hours before we were able to eat. He served us a big bowl of queso and fresh chips. I ordered a drink from the bar and we sat and talked quietly watching them work to get things put away. So the man came back and handed us a menu and invited us to come back the next morning. Come to find out they open early for the outage workers. The Spot on the Alley opens at 5 am during outage season for night shift to be able to get something hot to eat after a long night of hardwork. I just have to mention how nice I think it is. The man did tell me he only purchased The Spot on the Alley a few months prior. We have so much respect for these little towns who host hundreds of Plant workers a few months out of the year. Not to many businesses take into account the shifts these men and women work and their sacrifices and the odd shifts often times put their good health into question. So thank you for opening early for night shift. Don't know who will see it but here's the menu.“
