“We went to the SC Botanical Gardens and then were looking for a place to eat near by. Traditions on the Lake popped up on my phone so we went to check it out. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant is located in what looks like a hotel or condos, very nice. We sat outside, it was a beautiful day, there is a pool, fire pit and a nice view of the lake. Very relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was super friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the blue cheese dip with chips and then the apple butter grilled cheese. OMG, that was the best grilled cheese ever, they take it to a whole new level with the apple butter and perfectly toasted! We had French fries with it and they were perfectly crispy and delicious. We had a great time just relaxing outdoors and enjoying our meal. Definitely recommend!“

“Great food. Ordered wings, burgers, shrimp po'boys and rolls. Would particularly recommend the shrimp roll. The 6$ whiskey cocktail was surprisingly good. Their syrups choices are innovative pair well with the rest of the recipe. Was at Clemson for a one time event, but would visit often if I was a local.Locals probably know this, but for visitors, you can park at the nearby church lot if you want to avoid street parking.“
