“We arrived just before closing and placed our order. The staff was pleasant though and our dinner was served quickly and correctly. We were with our son and his family, and the upper lawn provided a nice area for the grandchildren to run and have fun while we finished our drinks. All in all, a very pleasing experience. We plan to visit again this weekend.“

The entrée options and menu in general can be challenging, but our waiter was so knowledgeable about the food, and the way it’s prepared, and what it goes well with, it was very easy to make my selections. I ate here on a trip to the lake with some friends. It was a perfect place for a group of well off middle-aged men with adventurous palates. Between the entire group, we must’ve ordered one of everything on the menu and it was all spot on. Don’t get fooled by the lack of exterior aesthetics or the absence of a parking lot. Haven't eaten anything from there yet, but I did a little breakfast cooking in the back yard when I stayed with a friend in one of the cabins in back. Went back another time in a camper. Nice place and nice accommodations. Music and fun in the mountains.“
