Went in for solo lunch after a stressful morning. Same people own this eatery as the ones that own Tubb’s in Florence. Interior of restaraunt is adorable with hand painted murals and rustic wooden tables. Atmosphere is truly lovely and there is ample seating.Unfortunately I was seated by an extremely rude ponytailed waiter (failed to introduce himself) and when I politely requested to sit a bit further down in the booth section due to two very large tables next to where he wanted to seat me he was extremely rude and unwelcoming. He responded to my request by sarcastically replying, “Well if you have to but you can’t sit at the T tops, we save those for our large parties.”I politely explained that I only wanted to move down one space. There was lots of available seating in the restaurant with four large t top tables completely unoccupied and no line at the door the entire time I was there.Menu has lots of choices but was a bit limited as far as Mexican choices in my opinion TBH. When I asked for a recommendation on the sushi my server (same man who seated me) acted as I were speaking Swahili. Not sure if he mistook me for a tourist and that was the cause of his rude and condescending attitude or not. Had to ask twice for a box for the rest of my food.Ended up choosing the Volcano Roll and asked that they omit the tuna. By the way: Prices for their sushi is higher than Konnichiwa which is also in Florence and has extremely wonderful food, atmosphere, and highly friendly and professional waitstaff.Volcano Roll was about as good as expected but sadly not amazing. The asparagus was an unexpected touch that added a nice texture to the roll. Sweet tea was ok. Eel sauce was more spicy than flavorful but was also ok.Won’t be back due to the server and higher prices that aren’t justified by the taste. More of a tourist stop IMHO.Do better King Jefe. Florence is well known for their friendly people and wonderful food!Vegetarian options: Lots of no meat optionsParking: Limited number of street parking spots 5 to 6 spotsKid-friendliness: Child friendly if your children like Mexican or sushi

Ordered a taco salad. It wasn't bad, just not great. I ordered it with shrimp and the shrimp was delicious. The rest of the salad was a little boring. Service was pleasant and they kept our drinks full. Atmosphere is cute though from the outside it looks a tiny bit sketchy. Don't be put off by the outside not being perfect. I would definitely give it a second try when I am in town.

I stopped in from Oregon. Qaunt little place with a full bar. Mexican food with Sushi, which should be something for everybody depending on your eating mood. I opted for the chimichanga. It came out fast, and as ordered. Nice large portion. Tasty flavor's!! I like spice, not spicy enough but not a complaint! It's South Carolina after all!. That is why a would only recommend that they blend up their spicy fresh sauce instead of the normal choices out of a bottle. But it's more me on the spicy option, then them! Recommended! All 5 stars given

This place hits different. The food was so good. Everything was great which is rare because usually there's at least one thing that could be better. Definitely a cool vibe, this place is gorgeous and the staff are super responsive and friendly. I'll be back.

The food definitely has potential to be great. It was pretty good but not exactly hot and fresh as I had expected, but delicious. Possibly the biggest health code violation was finding some sort of yarn in the cheese as pictured, let me get that out of the way now.We had a party of 8 and we were seated quickly and the food came quickly. The real issue was the not quite up to par service. It took a bit longer than I would have liked to be attended to but no big deal. We would have appreciated much more attention when it came to refills and our request for shredded cheese had to be repeated a second time before it was fulfilled.I believe we all agreed that the staff seemed uninterested. The chairs were also uncomfortable for full grown adults. Other than that, I would definitely give it another try to see if it goes better.

The food was very pretty. I enjoyed my meal. There was nothing wrong with what I was served. The taste was just nothing phenomenal. It was good just not delicious.I will go back though bc I want to try the sushi. Really cool that they specialize in tacos and sushi.Just a side note. I did notice on the door that they don't serve sushi on Mondays. So heads up if that's what you going for.Our server Taylor was really great. She was busy but I still felt like a priority. Great place to stop if you're looking for something a little different.

The atmosphere wasn't much welcoming, plus the tacos were not good at all. I spent $17 for two soft taco and one street corn on the cob, which I might say was ok. The pork was very dry like meat is constantly being reheated. No sauce or salsa given. Very

Wasted potential. Their food is plain and basic, but decent. I ordered the Jefe burrito, and it came out on a plate all by itself wrapped in tin foil. No side of lettuce, no cheese on top, no pico or sides of any kind. Very disappointing food presentation and very bland.Another huge disappointment was the service. A bunch of young people who seemed like they would rather be doing anything other than satisfying the customer but I understand that I guess. My biggest issue was I ordered a kids cheese quesadilla to go, it was $7.95 and when I looked in the bag it was the size of a tortilla chip cut in half. Not exaggerating. I took it out, held it next to the chips we still had, and they were the same size. Again, no side of rice, corn, or beans. $7.95 for a tortilla chip sized quesadilla. This place has great potential, but it definitely seems like we caught them on an off night.
