DO NOT OVERLOOK this real gem in Florence, across the street from the Hyatt & 1/2 block from Hotel Florence (super hotel by the way!!). Most notable here is the open pit charcoal grill on which all meats & other grilled food items are prepared. No electric grill but authentic charcoal! I had the NY strip & my spouse enjoyed the filet. Both were tender & yummy. Do Not Miss the “peas,” which are really black-eyed beans with the most DELICIOUS aromatic sauce. Paired with the Carolina rice they could be a meal in themselves if not for the large steak portion. Brussel sprouts were excellent, a little crispy the way I like them with a subtle but flavorful mustard sauce. The special appetizer was fried oysters on top of deviled eggs-very tasty!! Good bar cocktail menu & wine selection. Professional staff & we found the service attentive & prompt (Thanks Desmond, our server). Highly recommended for a solid meal, great ambiance, & reasonable pricing.

Hanger steak was superb. My husband and I both ordered a salad and appreciated waiter suggesting we share one. He was correct. They were large and would have been too much for a first course. Noise level high but we adapted.

If I could give a higher rating I would. First time at this restaurant and walked in at 7pm hoping to get a seat at bar. Traveling home to NH from Sarasota, FL. Jamie managed to get us a table even though it was busy. Helped pick out local cuisine that was fabulous. We had the braised beef, shrimp creole and Brussel sprouts. Also helped find my perfect beer and wife perfect wine. Jamie was on top of everything and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Cassidy, manager also stopped by twice to make sure everything was good. Perfect night 10+. Thank you Jamie.Parking: A perfect stop on your drive to and from FL. Wish I lived closer. Parking is not an issue.

Our host Nathan was AMAZING! He knew the menu, had recommendations for every taste bud and just did an overall EXCELLENT job! He made me forget that I was in Florence, SC! The food was DELICIOUS! Town Hall never disappoints! I hope their standards of service never change! It was an added touch to have the manager stop by to speak with us and collect plates. WOW!

Town Hall is our favorite when we find ourselves in Florence. Their cocktail and wine selections are wide-ranging. We enjoyed the oyster/egg appetizer, and the wedge salad dressing was excellent. Their menu changes and the entrees we had - chicken and seafood stew - were both well prepared. You can't top hummingbird cake for dessert and a glass of port topped off a lovely birthday dinner. Attentive and friendly service.

First time at Town Hall! The food was great, the service was excellent. Had steak, sweet potatoes, spinach, tuna and rice, wings, and cheesecake for dessert. Our group really enjoyed the meal! Great place to go for a date or just looking for a really nice restaurant. While they don't have a dress code (don't feel like you need to dress up), it still gives you a high class, elegant experience.

We were seated near the bar. Very noisy and distracting. Since I had reservations, I assumed that we would be seated in the dining area. We showed up 10 minutes before our reservation to ensure that we our table was held...and we still were placed near the bar. We've been at Town Hall several times, so I expected better treatment. Overall, the service was decent and the food was good.

Dillon was a fantastic server and truly an incredible personality to be around. Great sense of humor and an attentive personality that you really get to enjoy. Food was incredible (especially the cornbread!) and the atmosphere is as calm and as warm as you’d imagine it to be. It’s a comfortable place to eat. Really glad I spent my birthday here. :)
