“We met family to celebrate a birthday. Our arrival was at 11:05 AM to beat the rush. Each day has a different lunch menu with something for everyone. (The waitress said we could get anything on the menu but it would take longer) . Some of our super items were: 6 chicken wings, fried shrimp, fried squash, lima beans, Everything was sooooo good and the prices were quite reasonable.”

“The Wagon Wheel is the place to eat! If you leave there hungry, it's your fault! They have a big variety of lunch offerings and prices are reasonable. I love to go to the Wagon Wheel.

“I'm not usually a fish camp lover just because I prefer broiled or steamed seafood I don't really like it fried. But my employer likes to go here and the last two times we've gone the food was amazing. None of the food tasted greasy It was light and airy. The hush puppies are great especially with the honey butter. I like both the sweet and sour slaw. They did a remodel not too long ago and the interior just looks beautiful. I love what they've done to the place. Their candy boat is phenomenal! I once turned my nose up to fish camp food but I will now be glad to say, Let's Go Eat at the Catawba Fish Camp. I also have to give praise to our waiter Jack/Jackson. He was so friendly so attentive and just an all-around good kid. I told my employer I didn't think they made kids like that anymore, I only see them in lifetime movies. Haha! So if you go be sure to ask for Jack because he's just such a sweet guy and one of the best waiters I've experienced in forever. Give him a raise!!!! 😆”

“Was searching for some cool treats and came across Izzy's. The reviews had it near the to for area shops, so we took a shot. We were not disappointed. I got the rainbow ice, and my son got the banana pudding ice cream, I believe. Like another reviewer, the rainbow ice was like a party in my mouth . . . think rocket pop. My son's ice cream had big chunks of vanilla wafers or crust. He said it was awesome.”

“I had lunch there today for the first time with my cousin. It will not be my last. We both had T-bone steak, baked potato, and Cole slaw. The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender and flavorful. The baked potato was just right. The Cole slaw delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall a great experience.”

“Had the cheese burger and fries this past weekend and they did not disappoint. Best burger I've had locally in a long time. Prices were very reasonable for a fresh burger and fries, cheaper than McDonald's and so much better. My family will definitely be returning.”

“I pulled in at the drive thru and had 1 scoop of butter pecan in a Waffle cone. Waffle come was huge. I should have gotten 2 scoops. The ice cream was rather soft. I had to eat it quickly because it started to melt/ drip 3 secs after he handed it to me. All together the ice cream was tasty. Not enough pecans though. I will go back and try other flavors.”
