“If you're looking for a great representation of good Indian food, look no further than here. The service was quick, and the wait staff were pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. The three dishes we ordered were full of flavor, just the right level of spice, and served piping hot. This is certainly a place we will be visiting again.“
“Four friends and I landed here because the menu looked fantastic on line, and we love Indian food. Well, had the most delicious meal! Not only was the owners/staff extremely helpful in pointing out what we should order - we are from out of town - but the customers as well! Everyone was super nice and helpful. They did not steer us wrong. The food is extraordinary. The vegetable samosas were the best I have ever had, and I ordered the Masala Dosa Crepe which was absolutely delicious. Actually, we ordered a bunch of stuff, and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Really, this place is a gem, wonderful people, great food - we'll probably be back before heading home because now we want more!“
“First time visiting. We were greeted with enthusiasm and samples so a custom sauce was able to be created for our palate. This place is busy with regulars that the staff greeted upon their arrival. Quick service and great food. I can't say enough about the enthusiastic atmosphere! People who love what they do.“
“The guys here are so nice, the restaurant's styling is so beautiful, and the entrees my partner and I ordered was the best Indian food we've ever tried! The na'an is to die for.. I can't wait to eat here again!Vegetarian options: Best veg korma around! I also tried an entree called veg dewani handi for the first time and it was so savory. I appreciate the variety of vegetarian options.Suggestion: to make things a little more vegan friendly, it would be nice to have the option to substitute dairy with coconut milk/cream or another alternative.“
“Solid clean Indian food. I'm a beginner when it comes to ordering and keep things simple. We order biryanis and tandoori chicken and it was delicious and craved for more. When we ordered takeout the second time we picked up the wrong order which was 100% vegan. We called back to complain and they did not charge us. We tried the food and although we are not vegan the food was still tasty. I would go back the naan is excellent too and the owner did the right thing by not charging us.“
“Just had a great lunch here - lentil soup and lamb biryani. Both were excellent and perfectly made to my preferred spice level. The chunks of lamb were tender and delicious, which is often not the case with lamb dishes at other restaurants. The decor is pretty basic, but the food is first-rate. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Vegan dishes are also available.“
“Food was good. Kids loved Chicken Tiranga. Gobi Manchurian was awesome. The rest of items were pretty normal, nothing special or great. The floors were very slippery on that day, almost an hazardVegetarian options: Has many vegetarian options, including vegetables and paneer and rice“
“Today I visited for the second time, and I’m late they are closing in 10mins still they took me in and the food was really great everything was perfect and that garlic naan was wow just wow. Thanks you so much for not disappointing us. They are really happy to sever even we are late!!“
“Charlotte best Indian restaurant service was quick and food was amazing the sambar chutneys were delicious. This is the best in the city their paneer butter masala dosa,Ravadosa , Cholebhature, and Vadapav were too good I can’t ask more and I will be keep come back here coz I loved it.“
“Great service and food. Loved the scallop entree and the cauliflower appetizer. The noise level is a bit too high...high ceilings and close tables of large groups next to smaller tables makes it difficult to hear across the table. This is my only complaint as the food and service are wonderful“
“This is a hidden gem in South Charlotte if you love Indian cuisine I promise you visit them they're on point... I went here after not going here for a year and not because I didn't want to I just didn't have the time but just like I never left their customer service is still excellent the food is still great“
“There are several good restaurants in Charlotte for Indian food - this is by far the best, in my opinon. The food was delicious, the pricing was reasonable, we had no worries about gluten contamination, and the gentleman who took our order was extremely helpful. He took pride in his restaurant and it showed. Thanks VJ!“
“Stopped in on a whim... Not at all crowded which is a shame as the food was delicious. I have been to many of Charlotte's Indian restaurants (Copper, Blue Taj, Curry Gate, Bombay Grill, Exotica, etc) and this place is one of my favorites. The basics like the naan and the rice are top notch - we tried a chicken vindaloo, one of the chicken biryanis and the saag paneer. Everything was so good... Got a heat level of 6 on the vindaloo and it was perfect! Just enough to make me sweat a bit. Affordable and the service was lovely. Cannot wait to go back. Huge selection - chicken, goat, seafood, vegetarian.“
“It's nice place to visit for dine in with family and friends, glad to see they have started a daily buffet and was surprised to see that variety of items in that price, it's 12.99 in weekdays and there are plenty of items to choose in veg & non veg.must recommend.......“
“The wonderful aroma greets you as you enter. The service is exceptional. We watched our waiter take several orders and you could tell he knew the menu and wanted you to get exactly what you wanted! Very conscientious! The honey cauliflower appetizer was phenomenal. The lamb curry was so flavorful and tender. Lamb biriyani was perfect.“
