We came from out of town looking for something simple but different and tasty and we found it! Lots of friendly people, fast and delicious food and the first time my grouchy husband couldn't find a single thing to complain about! Now that's saying a whole lot ?

I’ve eaten here on several occasions. The hush puppies are delicious, the pulled pork is good, the brisket is decent. I’ve tried the salmon blt and the bbq salad which are both pretty good. On this last visit, i was a bit disappointed. I ordered the Mac & cheese burger and the burger seemed very thin, a bit overcooked and flavorless. The Mac & cheese was okay, but I guess I was expecting something a bit gourmet tasting. It is the same mac & cheese on the kids menu and was a bit too spicy for my daughter. The wings were good but seemed overpriced. Everything in general seemed a tad expensive. I enjoy the atmosphere and the service was good. While I do want this place to do well, I’m not sure if the bbq is good enough to get me to come back anytime soon…the hush puppies just might though.

Cute Lil place bbq Is great we live hr n half away but had to go to Fort Mill for a c&p visit for hubs. There is a a cute caboose and a trian behind the Improper pig bbq place idk what it was but I was intrigued if I had been feeling better I would have asked around but I have bronchitis infection so had to come straight home.The louisiana bbq ribs were on point and the pulled pork hubs had was as well definitely would love to return for more oh and the menu had a ton of stuff on itParking: Parking was behind the establishment

My waitress was Makenzie. She gave me recommendations on the menu. I tried the smoked chicken wings, improper cosmo, Salmon blt and the strawberry cobbler. Everything was amazing. It was clean and a nice atmosphere. But parking was a bit hard to find.Parking: The street parking was full, you had to find parking around the area or go to one of the public lots which were a bit of a walk.

Had some of the best pulled pork of my life there. I've been looking for a good vinger sauce and what you guys make is by far one of the best. That being said don't forget the other 5 sauces becuse the are pretty dumb tasty as well.

I really wanted to like the food but my ribs were so dry and hard I could barely saw thru them with my knife. I had the spicy green beans and they were great but couldn't get past how hard and not tender the ribs were.
