“We stopped by after our Labor Day weekend end . Everyone was so friendly ! Kacie was our waitress and we loved her !!! Everything was great! Fried pickles , the pretzel ( might have been the biggest hit ) BLT , tavern club , and steak and cheese ! We will definitely go back ! Kacie told us about the little alligator and he swam by before we left .“
“Nice small lodge with some friendly people. ( of course) Met a guy named david that is a local history buff, and he pointed me to sights to see.
They let me park my RV. In the field behind the lodge, no hookups of any kind but a legal place to park.“

“Went for a quick late dinner with coworkers on a Wednesday night, 1st time customer - service was Great - food was Tasty - fair pricing. glad I went. Will definitely return. For those who comment that they are disappointed, shocked or appalled Get Over Yourself and just enjoy a meal.“

“We (husband, daughter, me) were passing through, and we love to stop in Georgetown when we have the chance. We decided to try SoCo Grille based on a recommendation from Darby at Purr&Pour Cafe. We were helped by Savannah. She let us know she was fairly new, and we appreciated that. We did have a couple of small hiccups with getting our food or whatnot, but between Savannah & Nicole, we felt very taken care of as far as customer care. The food was AH-mazing, fresh, and generous. We had beef, chicken, and fish (Happy Hour) tacos, and an order of hush puppies. Everything was so de-lish, I'm still thinking about our meal several days later. 🤤🤭 We will be back! 🤗“
“Hands down the best local dive bar I’ve been to. Reasonably priced drinks, gator bites are the t!ts, and great staff will make you want to come back. I’ve never felt this welcome in my own hometown bar. Beautiful staff.“

“My Son treated me to a wonderful Mothers Day treat at The Independent! We began with Aperol spritzs from the bar, which were wonderful. We then ordered the oysters on the half shell and the devilled eggs with fried oyster. Both were excellent. Then we had the blackened flounder with andouille sausage and lump crab pileau with lemon beurre monte. The was also fried okra on the side. It was all phenomenal! To finish we had the Apple Pandowdy with vanilla ice cream. Perfect finish to a wonderful meal!“
