Blue Tequila Tacos and Grill

Went in for a Mother’s Day early dinner to celebrate my daughter and I. 4 adults and 2 kids. (One of them being a toddler) let me point out we are of Hispanic American descent. And being of the same race, you would think our service is above mediocre. Well it wasn’t. My daughter ordered the carnitas platter, which we’ve ordered before here, was not edible. The meat was full of fat. When we told the waitress, which ofc seemed unhappy to help us, my daughter asked her for taquitos instead. She receives asada tacos. With old meat!! The meat on the tacos, which was not the same as in my molcajete was not edible either! I told my daughter not to eat if it doesn’t taste right. The waitress stills asks, are you taking those tacos home!!?? Like what!!? Lady, no?! What is it her business, she probably knew where that meat was coming from! Then she proceeds to charge us for gratuity on our check without even telling us. Comes back to the table to make sure my husband gives her that signed check! Wow! Beyond disbelief and disappointed! Will be taking my business elsewhere. $167 for mediocre service and non authentic Mexican food.

Five stars for both the food and the service! Our waiter attended to us perfectly. Angel Gabriel was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of without any long waits. Great food, cool vibes, and top tier service. The decor creates such a cool vibe for a night out. We were blown away by the Molcajete! It’s loaded with avocado, grilled cactus, and perfectly cooked steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo meats. I can tell they care about the details here! This place is a gem, we absolutely loved it. Definitely will be back again.

The food was cold, and soggy bacon undercooked, and the lemonade was nasty.

Usually love this place but the service is lacking- tonight we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. Our server didn’t even give us his name and greeted us with “no one’s helped you? i guess i’ll do it”. My quesabirria came without cilantro and onions and we waited another 15 minutes for that and jalapeños. Another CUSTOMER had to wave down our server for us because they didn’t see us with a hand in the air! As a server myself they need to do better with the service here. Food was good when we finally got everything we needed for it.

Menu selections were more robust than what we've been used to a Mexican restaurants. Service was superb with a very knowledgeable, affable, helpful server who walked us through the menu and convinced us to try entrees we had never tried before. We loved the food!!! Can't wait to return.

Ordered tomahawk steak! Poor quality not grilled, potatoes were in a bath of oil. Not a place I would recommend for steaks.

Great great service! The drinks and food were amazing. Our server Angel Gabriel was outstanding. He took such good care of us, and made sure we had an amazing experience. Will be back and are looking forward to seeing him again! 10/10

My wife and I had dinner there Friday March 13. I noticed the following day I had 2 separate charges on my cc from them. One was our meal which was $59.83 and a 2nd charge for $50.85. I called and spoke with the manager on March 15 at 11:11am. She said she will call the cc company and get back with me. She called back at 11:31am and said that the charge of $50.85 will be refunded. I waited 5 business days before making a dispute through my cc. Over a month later and they are refusing to settle the dispute.
Make sure if you dine here. Keep your receipt and watch your bank account

Watch out for panhandlers at the entrance misrepresenting themselves as greeters, then ambush you on the way out for a donation! To Blue Tequila management, why do you allow this? Other than that, Todo Bien!
