Gail's Soul Food

I initially ordered food from Gail's via Uber, and a few items were left off. Uber returned my money, but I decided to try again the following day and decided to physically go to the restaurant, and I'm glad that I did. Michelle, one of the managers was SUPER nice and even gave me a discount. I ordered the turkey wing, red rice special w/mac and cheese. OMG, the food was GREAT. I look forward to returning, and I definitely recommend them!!

My husband and I have eaten at Gail’s several times! The food is always hot and delicious! This evening while there I noticed the two student employees’ interaction with several customers. They were very pleasant and respectful. They did a great job efficiently and accurately compiling orders (and there were lots of orders) while working with customers and management! Where there was a discrepancy, they kindly took care it!

We enjoyed our whole fried chicken wings, turkey wing, rice/gravy, macaroni, yams, green beans, collard greens, cabbage, yams, cornbread and Kentucky butter pound cake for dessert! We will enjoy the leftovers tomorrow! If you love Soul Food cuisine, try Gail’s!

Arrived to pick up a food delivery order and was told would be 5-10 more mins. I was told that 4+ more times. I was literally only waiting on 6 wings and fries. Finally left. This place cost me time and money. They are unprofessional and inconsiderate. I'll never accept another delivery for them nor eat here. It also smelled really bad inside the restaurant.

Service and atmosphere was great! Food was disappointing. I had fried chicken, which was on the burnt side. The Mac and cheese looked and tasted like it was left overs and the cabbage was way too soggy.

Truly home cooking ,The food was so delicious and the the wonderful waitress so sweet and kind this young beautiful humble young lady was raised in a wonderful home congrats to her parents

Food was delicious and hot right out of the kitchen. Service was a little slow caused by being short staffed.

Ordering from here is a hit or miss . Mostly misses in my experience. Never left a review but today I ordered online and my greens taste sour my fish was burned and they forgot my cake.

I tired Gail's for the 1st time this past week. I heard so many great reviews here in Charleston. So I wanted to try it myself. I did have an issue with my meal but I reached out and they fixed it the customer service was so good I didn't want my money back. I was so happy they fixed my order on my lunch break and the food was good. Special shout out to Mrs. Keyshia. If you haven't already stop in and check out Gail's Soul Food

Food was not seasoned enough, crab salad made with fake crab meat . Just all the way bad.

I'm actually disappointed in making this review However I ordered the oxtails and rice and for $21 you only get two oxtails. I actually asked the kind young lady that helped me how many did I get and she said three. Disappointingly enough the oxtails wasn't meaty and was mostly fat, And they were COLD. I'm actually a returning customer of Gail's because I really do like their food, but this time I'm very disappointed. I may return but it definitely won't be for the ox tails.

KIYAH was very pleasant and explained everything i needed to know. The food is amazing and decent portions. Got to try their food if you haven't already.

Customer service is excellent, waitresses are very attentive and friendly. I met the owner and he was very welcoming. Me and my kids always enjoy the food especially the gail’s wings. 10/10 we eat here every other Saturday :)

I oreded the fish and it was mushy like mash potatoes! I went there to get a remake and the fish still was rank and mushy! Eat there at your own risk!
