I visited on Cinco De Mayo and to say they were busy is an understatement, in fact when I ordered I had to get it to go since they were at capacity. However, even though they were busy, the service was great. It was fast, friendly, and honestly a good experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was quant with a fair amount of seating, as well as outside seating. I ordered a small pepperoni jalapeno pizza and a tiramisu. The pizza was splendid with a crispy crust, and it was super cheesy (the cheese pull was a pleasant surprise). It was a little oily, but I didn't mind, extra flavor. I've been on the hunt for a really good tiramisu and I'm happy to say I've finally found it! It had the perfect texture and taste, with the coffee being present, but not overpowering. It is heavy on the cream, but in the best way because it's not overly sweet. Highly recommend if you love tiramisu. Overall I'm excited to go back for more.

There was an event downtown so the wife and I finally decided to stop at Bertolos. The garlic knots were probably the best part of our experience. They were very good, you could tear the bread apart easily and they were buttery and garlicy. But the big reason we came here was the pizza. I wasn't a huge fan of their pizza. The sauce was very sweet, like extra sweet. And there was an abundance of oil in the middle of the pizza. They would have a 3 star review, but the reason for the 2 star review is they price gouge on there late night menu. A normal 6 slice pizza is $12 during normal hours. But if you go during there late night menu, they almost double it which is crazy to me. Not the biggest fan of Bertolos. There are better choices to go to.

This presents as a mom and pop pizza shop and they DO NOT disappoint! The calzones with mushroom...so good! I order from there way too much. Great place to stop for a slice. Plus, they typically have a great lunch deal.Vegetarian options: calzones, pizzas and salads...from appetizers to dinner, they have a meal for everyone.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat meat, and I always have so many options to choose from!Kid-friendliness: Great spot to take the kids to when you're downtown.Wheelchair accessibility: I have a temporary disability and some places are hard to navigate in, but this restaurant was open, I was able to move around and everyone was so nice.

My wife and I love to come here for the weekday lunch specials; two slices (huge, 1/4 of a 9 inch pizza), or one slice and a great salad (lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, carrots, and purple cabbage). Three of their dressings are made in house and delicious; Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, and House Balsamic. Extra pizza toppings are 30 cents each. Oh and the specials include a drink. The two of us can eat for just over $20 including tip. Great pizza, atmosphere, and service.

Reasonable price, quick service, great location. The pizza window comes in clutch on those drunken nights out on the town as well.

Service was fine. Ordered a 9” pepperoni and sausage for lunch. It was not very good. Very greasy and the pizza crust was very dull. Will not repeat.

So I ordered this off grubhub and just received it. Oh my gosh, this smells amazing. Pizzas are just as I ordered, bread sticks look good, and garlic knots are perfect. I'm just passing through SC and picked this place by the rating and pictures. I'm glad I ordered.
