The Elite 8 is in Greenville this weekend and you make the decision to close at 5:00 on Sunday. We’re currently at your competitor who made the right decision to service the many customers in town. As a business owner you should be ashamed and if I were the franchise owner I would question whether you should continue as a franchisee.
We finally make it downtown to the most awesome, made on premises, candy, fudge and ice cream shop. So excited. It's literally 5:02 pm. Normal close time 10:00 pm. There is a sign on the door that they closed at 5:00 pm for an employee outing. Feeling beyond totally disappointed, we sit in the courtyard trying to get motivated to find something else to do on this beautiful day. Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge in downtown Greenville is such a treat. The service is always warm and welcoming – the staff really go out of their way to make sure customers feel taken care of. The selection is incredible, from rich chocolates to creamy ice cream and fresh-made fudge. Everything is high quality and delicious. The salted caramel chocolate was one of the best chocolate ice creams ever eaten, and the butter pecan was delicious too. The best key lime pie ice cream was available, and a flavor called blue moon was enjoyed. The peach flavored and the lemon pie flavored ice cream are really good. The chewy candy, chocolates, caramel popcorn and peanut brittle are also loved. It is hard to leave without picking up a little bit of everything. Definitely one of the sweetest spots in downtown Greenville.
