Pricy but cute

I went here earlier today and was serviced by a young lady named Marie. She was very helpful with helping me decide on what I wanted and was very informative. Excellent customer service. 10/10 will definitely recommend visiting this cookie shop, will be back soon! Tasty cookies 🍪

Friendly employees, yummy cookies, and free samples! They have gluten-free varieties as well.

Travis and Ms Charlotte are both above and beyond great. They both know the ins and outs of the cookies and the other products. A very warm inviting atmosphere to come in and sample the many varieties of cookies at no charge and no pressure to buy anything. I can’t stand pushy sales people and this location has the least pushy staff anywhere I’ve been. They will tell the history of the company and answer any questions you may have about any of the products and pricing. That must be the Byrd’s business model, not to be pushy, I always get more cookies than I probably should but can you be anything other than happy when eating a Byrd’s cookie? I don’t think it’s possible.

I visited Greenville from out of town and was excited to try something more local, so after doing some research, I decided on Byrd’s. I stopped in on 2/22/26 around 2:15pm looking forward to trying a few cookies and purchasing a box.
Unfortunately, the customer service experience was disappointing. When I walked in, the employee greeted me with a very faint “hi” without looking up from her phone. The store was completely empty, so I was surprised by how cold and disengaged she was immediately. When I accepted a sample and asked for a recommendation, I was simply told “this is the new one” and handed a cookie impatiently. When I asked what her personal favorite was, she sighed and said, “I don’t like sweets.”
While everyone can have an off day, the overall tone felt dismissive and uninterested. As someone who came in excited and ready to purchase, it was discouraging. First impressions matter, especially for visitors hoping to support a local business. Also, I’m just confused as to why someone who hates sweets would choose to work at a COOKIE shop? I respect people have different tastes, but isn’t the entire point to SELL the cookies? Saying “a lot of people love xyz” instead would probably turn a lot less people away.
The cookie I sampled was tasty, so I’m sure the products themselves are great. I just hope future customers receive a warmer and more engaging experience.

Good service and knowledge staff.

This had to be the cutest cookie shop I’ve seen in the area. There is definitely something here for everyone on your list, enjoyed looking around at all of the flavors and options here, friendly staff too.

Everything is delicious. I especially love the cinnamon and sugar.

Wouldn’t know, cause i was here at 8:15 on Saturday and despite their hours being posted as until 9, they were locked up tight. Real considerate. Won’t be back.

Friendly and helpful staff, and some of the best premade cookies. The variety of flavors is stunning. It's hard to in here for a single item, and not get a six pack.

Love that you can get samples of the cookies since there are so many options. The gluten-free key lime cookies are really good!

I'm so excited we stopped by here. I was surprised how a little cookie could be so flavorful. Absolutely delicious key lime, and let's just say cheese cookies. Wow. I'm hooked!!! I got back home that night and embarrassed to say polished off almost one pound bag of key lime

I love this Greenville cookie shop! A wonderful variety of fresh cookies..my favorite is Key Lime & salted caramel!
The gentleman who seems to be there anytime I've stopped in, is knowledgeable, kind & just super nice!
