“I am just a southern Guy from South Carolina. The aesthetics of the establishment is pleasing. Now, a breakdown of the food. I ordered.
The jerk chicken dinner. I am not a lover of carrots, but I.ate all of them. The chicken was tender, well seasoned and a total pleasure for the palate. Being southern, The rice and beans reminded me of hop and john with an enriched caribbean overtone. The plantain was a nice finish and the perfect dessert. “Came here with the wife for dinner the other day. I got the half chicken extra jerk sauce and she got the large jerk plate. The food was amazing, my only complaint was that some of the chicken seemed a little more dry then the other. Other than that, we were not upset about the food at all. The service was good but a little inattentive. And the atmosphere was a little bland. But the part that killed me was we got the punch and it was $10 for 8 ounce of a mix drink. I get down town prices but this seemed a little outrageous.“
