My husband and I went last week for a few drinks and some appetizers ..we r returning customers at the ale house..we always enjoy ourselves...we had an excellent waitress named Rebecca..she is one of our favorites..she's very kind and welcoming is quick on her feet and i don't think our glasses went empty once..very attentive and thorough. We will definitely be asking for next time we come to the ale house
Tried for a week call a reservation in and no one would answer or call back. Menu looked good as was very interested but seem they don’t care
Waitress took 20 mins to bring water. She instead stood and socialized with another table. We asked for boxes and had to get them ourselves bc she never came back. But as soon as we got the check she was waiting to take our money.

Based on the reviews, Carolina Ale House - Greenville-Downtown is a quintessential sports bar with plenty of screens to watch the game. The beer selection is extensive, with the best selection of beers in town and the ONLY tap with Samuel Adams Boston Lager. The food is excellent and always well prepared, though not particularly memorable; the wings are crisp, saucy, and unapologetic. Prices are reasonable, especially for a downtown location. The atmosphere is great for sports games, with a loud but welcoming energy where strangers become teammates. The staff is a highlight, with servers like Kim being sweet, friendly, and quick. Paris is also quick, attentive, and friendly. Alexus, Michelle, Kara, and Ruby are all great. It is either a guest's kind of place or it isn't.
