“We had breakfast here for our anniversary and it was perfect! The food was amazing! The French toast sticks were the best I've ever had! I have the Maverick biscuit with chicken and it was so good! The biscuits were homemade, fresh, BIG, and delicious! The philly omelette tasted so good and the home fries were seasoned perfectly! Our waiter Josh was so nice, the manager (I forgot her name) was so pleasant, and the chef/owner Sergio stopped by out table! Such a nice guy and sweet team! I would definitely be back at this location!!!“

“This was my first visit and it was outstanding! The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious with outrageous chicken biscuits, waffles & tenders, biscuits with gravy, and the hashbrowns were unbelievable! Not to mention, they fresh squeeze orange juice to order and please the fruit tea punch, perfect for a humid morning. Most definitely coming back!“

“The “new” Roost is very nice to look at and the outdoor seating is fantastic for people watching and relaxing. Drinks were very good as well. But the food... underwhelming. Turkey Reuben was dry and lacked flavor. The Parmesan truffle fries were pretty good. My daughter's burger just ok. Elevate the food and you will have a great spot!“

“The service was marvelous! The waiter was always on time. The old style brick made me feel cozy. The food was remarkable! Fresh, hot, and tasty to the last bite. The croissant with the magical melted honey butter was amazing! I pushed through a full belly and ate as much as I could of the delicious skillet cookie topped with ice cream.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Southern Palate Catering. We used their services for our wedding in April 2022. Most of the compliments we received from the wedding were about the food! We worked with Denise, the chef and owner of Southern Palate. She always got back to me promptly and was always willing to meet with me face to face anytime I needed during the planning process. My husband and I always dreamed of having Mexican food at our wedding. Denise already had an option on the catering menu for Mexican stations and it was just what we were looking for! They homemake everything, even the tortilla chips (which were amazing), and were able to accommodate my gluten allergy with anything I wanted. Denise made sure all of her employees knew I was gluten free and they served me and my husband the whole night so that we didn’t have to worry about taking the time to get our own food. They even packed us a to go box full of every food item at the wedding so that we were able to eat at our hotel after. They took all the stress off of us on our special day and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend using them for any event and I will definitely be using them for any catering needs in the future.“
