Decided to try coming here based on someone else's glowing review, and they were absolutely spot on. We started with the pork belly bao buns which were so yummy! For entrees, I had the shrimp ravioli and my friend had the creamy mushroom pasta and both were absolutely delicious. My ONLY critique would be more cheese on the ravioli. Will absolutely be coming back.
Our big group of friends had a tremendous time in Community Canteen. Everything is excellent and it is certainly our first choice for group gathering!

Community Canteen offers a unique dining experience with two distinct cuisines - Asian and European. The Asian menu features popular dishes from their sister eatery, Sushi Murasaki, including Singaporean Noodles, Beef Donburi, sushi rolls like the drunken fish roll and rainbow roll, and Chicken Ramen if you like a little spice. The European side of the menu offers homemade recipes, such as Schnitzel and a Sausage platter with authentic German potatoes. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with a full bar, and guests can enjoy options like hibachi and German dishes. Friendly staff and good service are notable features at this neighborhood bar and restaurant. Visitors can sit outside to enjoy the sun or bring their doggy. Overall, Community Canteen provides a good dining experience with delicious food, a welcoming environment, and a charming mix of Asian and European flavors.
