I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because while their customer service has always been subpar, this is the first time that it has been absolutely terrible.My wife and I had rough days so I asked her to pick up Cook Out on her way home from the store. She calls me back in tears. It was only her and one other car in the drive through but the staff kept rushing her order and telling her to hurry up. She told them from the beginning that she was ordering two plates. Halfway through the order, the drive through clerk asks her "wait, is this a plate?" And when she says yes he replied in a huff "well you have to tell me that *before* you order!" At the end of the order, she realized that she had made a mistake while reading what I asked her to get for me and apologized and asked if she could get what I had actually asked for instead. They told her to "just pull up to the window already" and did not change the order.My wife has worked in fast food before and realizes how stressful those positions can be. She has always been kind to servers because she has been in their shoes before. I'm writing this review in her place because she doesn't have the heart to call them out on how they treated her. I find this behavior unacceptable and despite Cook Out being one of our regular take out places, we will not be returning to this location.

Went to the cookout it was busy which was no problem. As soon as we ordered our food and got to the window I checked it before we left I was missing my fries so I told Brenda (name on the receipt) and she got an attitude with me and asked for the tray back so I handed it back to her and she said “are you sure this is the right tray.”I didn’t say anything bc it was kinda rude. She told me that I had to pay for the fries that’s I ordered bc it wasn’t on the receipt when it comes with the try and I explained that to her. She proceeded to tell me I had to pay bc it wasn’t on the receipt. I asked to speak to the MOD and he helped us out. He’s really respectful. He’s 100% best manager ever
Terrible. Had heard how great cookout was, you have to go there. It sucked! Order was wrong had to go all the way thru drive in again. The chicken grilled sandwiches were so tough that after about 30 minutes of trying, we gave. Thanks cookout great experience.

The food here is a major rip-off. Ordered a ranch crispy chicken wrap. One little over cooked piece of chicken, 2 shreds of lettuce, and a drip of sauce. Seriously? It was nasty. Order a thing of hush puppies, and you get 3 bites. I used to get a good handful. The employees all act like you're bothering them. It's not worth the money for the high school cafeteria food you're getting.
