Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Love Firebirds but definitely will not be going to Greenville location. I have never been racially profiled before but I certainly was last night by 2 of the hosts.
I made a reservation for 8:30 and I was even on time. Yet 2 white people who came after me got seated before I did. So we waited 15+ mins to be seated.
And then when we were seated the waitress was just unwelcoming. Her attitude wasn’t the friendliest, I felt so rush to order every time she was at our table. And i didn’t even get my bread and butter like how I saw other table received.

Never coming back to somewhere that clearly has a priority to one race only.

Earlier in the week I had the most amazing experience at Firebirds in Greenville, S.C. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by a host who was friendly and professional. She took us to our table and immediately the waittress came and offered us water and offered to take our drink order. I ended up ordering the lemonade which was homemade and some of the best lemonade I've ever had in my life. For my entree, I orderd the lobster queso and baby back ribs. My food was fresh, hot, and delicious. When we were wrapping up to go, the manager came to our table just to see how our meal went. He was so pleasant and professional and the conversation was nice. I truly enjoyed my experience at Firebirds. I will definitely return.

From the moment we first arrived, it was clear this place was no secret—the crowd outside said it all. Despite the packed house, we were seated within 20 minutes, and let me just say: completely worth the wait.

The menu is full of tempting options, but I landed on the Caprese Chicken Pasta—and wow. Fresh, flavorful, and generously plated, it was everything I hoped for. I paired it with a strawberry lemonade that was bright, refreshing, and tasted like summer in a glass. My husband went for the Firebird Chicken Pasta—less fiery than the name suggests, but still a flavorful hit.

The service was spot on. So good, in fact, that we couldn’t resist coming back for round two.

On our return visit, I tried the Honey Garlic Chicken—and I’m officially obsessed. Tender, sweet-savory perfection. My husband ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and fell just as hard for it. Our friendly server (who clearly knew what they were doing) talked us into trying the Lobster Spinach Queso, and let’s just say... no regrets there.

This place doesn’t miss. From the food to the service, everything hit the mark. Whether you're in the mood for comfort food with a twist or just want to treat yourself to something delicious, this spot is a must. We’ll be back—and probably sooner than we should.

I love eating at Firebirds and tonight’s meal was delish! We had the clam chowder , the deviled eggs with candied bacon (highly recommended), kids chicken fingers ( cooked perfectly) and the big daddy cake for dessert!! I’m stuffed and enjoyed every bite! Not to mention that our server was great too! She kept our drinks full and never complained when we asked for anything. Firebirds never disappoints.

Food was small portioned, but very delicious. The bread & butter are fresh and tasty 😋. The Chilean Seabass with ancient grains was super.

Everything was awesome. Food was excellent, the 2 young ladies that waited on us were awesome. We had been there for our Anniversary and were treated wonderfully. We will be back.

Loud in the restaurant but it's expected.the prices are crazy high smaller portions. Staff very accommodating and nice over all it was good I guess with the prices my expectations was very high for the food and it was just regular to me

Would have been even higher, besides the fact of one manager acting completely unstable and childish. I believe her name was Kennedy. While I was eating, I noticed her at the host stand talking sternly to 2 of the host. Me being nosy, I listened in, and the way she spoke to them was completely uncalled for and straight up rude. I’ve never witnessed a manager get so upset over something so small. Not to mention, while I was eating, it was not very busy at all, so I don’t see where the anger was coming from. I’ve been eating at firebirds for quite some time, and after what I saw/heard today. I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back if that’s how management treats staff. Extremely disappointing. Not to mention, those girls were so sweet to me when I walked in and had such a positive attitude. Firebirds, do better at selecting your management, especially when it comes to ones that are front of house facing.

Been to many of these across the country. Always consistent in good service and good food. South Carolina Greenville did not disappoint
