The Charcuterie Board was excellent. The sliders and chips were barely average. The pasta salad was a little above average.

We dined prior to hearing the lecture given by Neil deGrasse Tyson. When we arrived, we were greeted and sat promptly. The service we received was fantastic with excellent recommendations. I look forward to additional events.

This is the way to go before any show at the Peace Center! Excellent service! Our waitress was very friendly, offered advice for selections, and was attentive but not intruding. You have to try the lobster mac & cheese!

I always make reservations at Genevieve's prior to a concert. The only issue we had last night was our chicken skewers were over cooked. The rest of the food was delicious and our service was great.

We arrived a few minutes early and we were promptly seated. We had a nice table for 2. Water and menus were presented. We placed our order and it came out in 5 minutes or so! Food was fantastic. We decided to order dessert and it was outstanding as well. We were able to take our time and no one rushed or pushed us. This is a great venue for before a performance at the Peace Center. The Righteous Brothers concert was a blast! Thanks Genevieve's and Peace Center for making a very special night for a couple that grew up with the Righteous Brothers (yea, we are a little older!!) .

The service at the beginning when we arrived was terrible. I got our table while my husband parked. The seater did ask me what I wanted to drink and then got my wine. Then my husband arrived and our friends within the next 5 minutes and we never saw a server for at least 25 Minutes! Finally a server did come to our table and got our drinks and appetizers. No issues with service after that - but 25 minutes to sit there with no drinks, nobody coming to our table, was ridiculous. The food was hit and miss. The chicken souvlaki was overcooked - couldn't even eat it after chewing the first piece for a while. The meatballs were delicious though, and the Brussels sprouts dish was tasty. There are better places to eat right near The Peace Center.

Great pre-Peace Center event venue. This was my first time to dine at Genevieve's before a performance, and it exceeded my expectations. The menu is limited but great choices from a variety of options. The brussel sprout-cauliflower appetizer was especially good. The experience was so good that I made reservations for dinner for a group prior to our next Peace Center event in a couple of weeks.

A Nightmarish Culinary Odyssey at Genevieve's: A Review As we embarked on what we thought would be an exquisite culinary journey at Genevieve's, little did we know that our evening would unfold like a tragicomedy of epic proportions. Securing reservations akin to obtaining tickets to a clandestine society, we waited with bated breath for three weeks, envisioning an evening of unparalleled gastronomic delight and atmosphere. Upon our punctual arrival at 7:15, we were greeted not by the warm embrace of hospitality, but rather by the imposing presence of a metal detector and perplexed attendants inquiring about our "tickets." Alas, our reservations were recognized and we proceeded. Navigating through the bustling throng of patrons, we were led to the solitary sanctuary of a two-top table, our beacon of hope in an otherwise chaotic abyss. However, our hopes were swiftly dashed as we languished drinkless, for a seemingly interminable ten minutes, abandoned and forlorn, until we were compelled to venture forth to the enigmatic host stand for aid. As we waited, an ominous announcement pierced the airwaves, announcing the 5 minute commencement of "the show." In an instant, the bustling hall transformed into an eerie ghost town, with only our bewildered selves and the highly annoyed wait staff to bear witness. Amidst the vacuum's hum and the clatter of tableware, we were informed that the kitchen was on the brink of closing, with choices limited to whatever remnants remained. A mere fifteen minutes past our reservation time, the doors set to close and the waitstaff starting at us with disdain. With each sip of my martini, I was transported to a dystopian landscape of taste curiosity and despair, while the charcuterie before us resembled more a haphazard collage of culinary mistakes, then a curated dish. We paid and left, hungry and befuddled. We are still laughing at how bad this experience was, nothing was good, certainly not for a 3 week wait.

We had a fabulous experience. The only issue we had was the reservation itself. Open Table only let us reserve a table for 6. So three of us reserved tables for 6, but we got tables for 8. That left our group a bit awkwardly placed. The restaurant brought us two extra chairs and we were able to get our whole group placed at two tables. All worked out, just a bit awkwardly.

For my taste, ideal for the context. You don't necessarily need a big meal before a concert or play. Unusual, delicious plates to share, tasty desserts fit for the occasion, and beverages as desired. You can have a conversation without shouting and sets the mood for the performance to come. Service is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. All this at a cost, by today's standards, doesn't break the bank.

Dinner before Itzhak Perlman last night...we had the chicken skewers with Greek salad, pita, and tzatziki. The salad was delicious, the chicken was perfectly cooked and warm...our waitress was very attentive and all the staff did a great job. It was the perfect pre-recital supper!

Adjacent to Peace Center so it's nice and relaxing to have a light dinner before a show. You aren't rushing to get to a venue. Prices are reasonable for GVL we shared 3 appetizers, 2 glasses of wine and 2 beers, for under 90 bucks (not including gratuity). Our service was excellent and we provided a generous tip. The food is not bad but it's nothing spectacular. We had 3 appetizers. The charcuterie board was the best out of the three.
