Genevieve's Reviews
Great view and really beautiful seating area. The atmosphere is easily the best part of the experience, especially before a show. The food and drinks are definitely expensive, but that is pretty much expected for a restaurant attached to a concert venue.
The biggest issue was the service. It was very slow throughout the meal, and we almost did not make it to our seats because we were stuck waiting for the wait staff to finally bring the bill. That kind of stress right before...read full review
A good restaurant to have a before the show meal. Our first time there, the hostess welcomed us, and what to expect during intermission (our same table and our pre-ordered coffee and dessert waiting for us awesome). However the person taking care of our table was not engaging and did not check on us during our meal. We had Salmon and Chicken (okay could be better). Genevieve's is a popular spot for diners attending shows at the Peace Center, with a helpful and attentive server team, including Steph. The restaurant offers reasonable prices and good food, with standouts like creamy gazpacho and excellent flatbread with artichoke, tomatoes, and basil. While some menu items have been stagnant for a while, the addition of fresh salads, fruit, and vegetables to the Saturday matinee menu is a welcome improvement. The atmosphere features soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Reedy River, creating a relaxed and inviting setting. During warm evenings, the open wall doors provide a breezy, open-air experience. Guests can enjoy a lovely selection of brunch items, a full bar, and a good wine selection. The staff are friendly and helpful, making it a nice, intimate place to grab drinks and lite bites before a show. Visitors often appreciate the beautiful view of the river walk area of downtown, and show tickets are required for entry, adding a special touch to the experience. Overall, Genevieve's remains a favorite for those attending performances at the Peace Center.
