The Lazy Goat offers a spectacular dining experience with delicious dishes like fried goat cheese, Paella, Confit Duck Leg & Purple Potato Gnocchi, and Broccolini & Gruyere Campanelle. Located by the river, the restaurant provides lovely views, especially of the Peace Center, whether inside or outside. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the river while sitting on the patio, sometimes with a side waterfall behind them, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food is amazing and inventive, featuring flavorful options like steak, halibut, and the best duck fat, truffled fries in town. The menu has recently been updated, offering new options and a wine list that includes half-price wine on Thursdays. The service is outstanding and attentive, making guests feel special from the moment they arrive. The decor is beautiful, and the vibrant atmosphere adds to the experience, though the noise level can be quite loud at times. Parking may require payment down the street, but the quality of the food and impeccable service make it worth the visit. The menu always offers options that satisfy, such as quail and gnocchi with duck breast, often paired with a good glass of wine. Guests have enjoyed appetizers like lamb dip and bread, and desserts such as Tiramisu and chocolate Marquis cake, adding to the overall fantastic experience.
