My hotel had pictures of the food at this place and I was especially eyeing the bowl of loukoumades. My husband and I went in there for coffee and dessert last night ordered a bowl of the loukoumades. We literally got this little Olive tray with 3 of them in there. And to top it off these are not traditional loukoumades!!! Asked our waiter for the check I saw him tending to everybody else never came to us. I had to ask somebody else for my check who brought it and it had extra item on there. This Greek girl who was expecting a really nice dessert is extremely disappointed!!!

A group of friends and I came here from Asheville before seeing Clue the play and were all very impressed. I don’t think there was a single negative I could think of during our visit, other than we didn’t have enough room to try more of their food. The fried goat cheese was SO good with the vanilla honey on it. We also got the Brussels sprouts and the full charcuterie board. I personally got the duck with gnocchi and it practically melted in my mouth. We finished off with espresso martinis for dessert, or at least we thought so until the kind server brought us a free dessert to share ❤️ really impressed by the view and ambience of this place. The service was attentive and personable (sorry I don’t remember his name but it was on 4/17/24). I will be back next time I’m in Greenville!

Disappointing, but spotty. If I lived nearby I would try it again, as long as I could get outdoors seating. We sat indoors on the lower level in a large room without anything on the walls or floors to dampen the noise. As a result, even though it was only half full, it was VERY noisy. There were just 2 of us and we had to lean across the table to be heard. My Brussels sprouts starter was beautifully presented and delicious. The lamb starter was just bland; neither of us liked it. My husband’s pasta with chorizo was tasty. My drink was good, but tiny. I’ve never seen such a small mixed drink. All the servers were friendly and helpful, but the bartender was possibly overworked - it took over 20 minutes for us to get our order.

I enjoyed the cocktail I ordered that was brought after a long wait. Nice atmosphere, but the service was slow and the cuisine was disappointing.

It's a little loud, but you should be eating the fried goat cheese balls instead of talking anyway!

I goat some goat cheese because I thought it was the way to goat. And I was right.Very good place and dishes. I wish I could write a full review of how crazy good it was, but I'm too lazy (goat) for that !If I need some goat cheese I learnt where to go..at Lazy Goat ! Anyway five stars !

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Lazy Goat celebrating our anniversary! Our server Lena took great care of us and made our meal very special! Everything we had was delicious, including our cocktails. The fried goat cheese and brussel sprouts appetizers are a must. Great setting right next to the river too, highly recommend!

The food was excellent! My colleagues and I had everything from the fried goat cheese, brussel sprouts and pita chip appetizers to the quinoa stuffed pepper, steak and potatoes, chorizo pasta and rice dish plus the seafood. The steak was excellent and prepared exactly as requested. The risotto and scallops were excellent and the rigatoni pasta was great as well, a little spicy but very good! Everyone raved about the Spanish rice dish...sorry I can't remember the name but it was unanimous everyone loved their food and the bites we shared with each other! I had both mocktails and they were flavorful and well balanced. This restaurant was definitely a hit!!
