Grill Marks - Main St. Greenville

Really enjoyed the burger and truffle fries. The food was tasty, hot and fulfilling. The Cookies and Cream Dirt milkshake was a sweet addition to the meal. Our server (Vianney) was very kind and welcoming.

Amazing fun staff. Great food and drinks. Sat there for hours just enjoying everyone. Manager Christine and Bartender Riley were absolutely the BEST!!! We will come back everytime we're in Greenville.

The Parmesan Truffle fries and the spicy teriyaki wings were delicious

waiter Xavier (X) needs a raise. He was cool, upbeat and kind. Definitely one of the top 3 best waiters we’ve ever had in Greenville.

The fries trio was phenomenal. Best truffle fries of Greenville hands down. Then we got skinny fries and sweet potato fries as well. All phenomenal. And they each came with their own paired sauces!! It was lit.

Grill Marks- you’ve got everything going for you,… but get some new menus!! They’re old, dirty and worn out. They’re past a deep clean. Lol. Just get new ones please. Other than that your ambience is phenomenal! Super clean otherwise. (But- Another thing I noticed is maybe the outdoor patio could use a deep clean or a freshening up with new paint or something on the floor.)

All in all, y’all are awesome!! And you have a great waitstaff. X (not the Twitter spinoff) is an asset for y’all forreal. Great time.

We went to the Columbia location and Joel FLAWLESSLY handled our group of 17! He was a pro, and one of the best servers I’ve had. Ask for Joel when you go

The HYPE that this place has a awesome Burger just wasn't enough or true for me. My order took over a half hour to receive, My Burger was just sloppy, the meat had no flavor to it whatsoever, my fries were delivered to me over 5 minutes after my burger arrived making me just have to look at my burger the whole time & the Parm fries with Mustard dip were just disgusting. Mustard on fries is exactly what you'd imagine it to be, GROSS. This place was disappointing in so many ways.

I’ve noticed a trend when paying with cash at restaurants and it happens here. It used to be that if my meal cost $16.32 and I paid with a $20 bill, I would receive $3.68 back from the server. Last week when I paid a $16.32 bill with a $20 bill, I was given only $3 in change by my server, leaving me 68 cents short.

My friend told me that servers are doing this to save time in processing cash payments, and so they don’t have to carry around coins in their apron pockets.
So for me, I request my change and this reflects poorly in the tip that I now give.....and that change that you wanted to keep in the first place will be the tip. This is stealing from the customer.

I Should have read the reviews. The servers need better training on customer service. Messed up my order with no attempts to correct it. Won't be back. Made me feel like an inconvenience.

El Gringo burger was really good!

As someone with Celiac Disease, eating out is VERY limited! I am grateful for Grill Marks. Been to Greenville and Columbia multiple times over the past decade. I have never had an issue with gluten cross-contamination here! I appreciate the fries, etc are also dedicated gluten free. My burger is always cooked as ordered. For the price, the value of food quality and service level are completely on par. I will continue to return and if I have a singular experience below the norm, I will still give them another shot!

My wife and I dropped by Grill Marks with our dogs and were able to snag a nice table outside. The employees we interacted with were nice and communicative. The only drawback was the food was not great. We just ordered the triplet basket of fries, sweet potato fries, and fried pickles and it was not good. The pickles in particular had a burnt fishy taste to them. Clearly the oil used had not been changed in a while and we were tasting residue from other food cooked.

Food was well prepared and had good taste.
Service was very very very slow and order came out wrong and incomplete so had wait even extra time.
