The assistant manager there is horrible. It was recently remodeled, but it needs to be redone again. It actually looks worse. I would not recommend at this time. Also, they did not reopen indoor pool and hot tub after the pandemic. Not a good idea. These were the only real features they had to offer.

First we were told there was a pool. We were all prepared to swim and then told that oh Expedia has that and they no longer use their pool. They did not even offer any type of financial relief for that and the room wasn't worth the price. Second the beds were only full, not Queen who does that? Lastly, to add the cherry on the top.What we went to check out.They charged $6 a night to park at the hotel. Granted, I use Wikipedia and they promised both the pool and the queen-sized beds. However, I was told that they were aware that Expedia was misleading their customers and yet they still allow them to book rooms for them. That falls on them. I would not recommend this hotel.

Was double charged for my room. Two different prices. Called the hotel after catching the extra charge on statement from bank. The hotel showed both charges and confirmed my stay in one room.Was told that I would have to wait for the person in accounting to arrive to clear this up, called later that day due to no call back. Was told she was busy with a customer and would call me. Still no phone call. I have called my bank to dispute the charge. How does this happen? Was made to feel like I was an inconvenience the moment I walked in. I have never, not received a receipt paper or email from a hotel. Will call again tomorrow.Noteworthy details: Poor customer service

A Hilton Hotel that does NOT want to be a Hilton Hotel. It is clear to me that this hotel faced great financial strain and is attempting to nickel and dime at every corner. Firstly I want to preface that I am a lifetime Hilton Diamond ive stayed in the best and worst Hilton hotels across the globe.Firstly upon arriving they charge $6 for parking in an unsecured lot, a money grab but fine whatever.While overall my experience was satisfactory, I encountered an issue during my visit that left me feeling quite embarrassed and disappointed.During my stay, I availed myself of what I understood to be complimentary continental breakfast per the Hilton app and per the terms of my booking. However, upon accessing the buffet I was surprised asked to pay $15 per adult and $10 per child for breakfast. This came as quite a shock to me as I had assumed it was included in my stay.I approached the front desk to inquire about the discrepancy, and after some discussion, it was confirmed that indeed breakfast was no longer complimentary and that they did not know why it showed like this in the Hilton App. The realization that I would be charged $60 for a mediocre standard continental breakfast…scratch that… less that continental breakfast left me feeling embarrassed and actually quite disappointed. The breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon, grits , juice, stale cereal and stale pastries. For that amount we could have had an entire spread at the local Cracker Barrel. I’ve been to many pay to eat Hilton’s that charged just as much but included a real breakfast omelets waffles etc. As a loyal customer of Hilton, I have always appreciated the high level of service and attention to detail that your brand is known for. However, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and myself nor the organization will support this particular location. This location does not keep with the finest traditions of the Hilton brand, even as simple as providing water to tiered guest at check in. They force you not to be able to use the app and you must visit the desk at check in defeating the whole point of requesting the check in/key in the app. So many things I could say about this location.In the end if you want to be a Hilton you should keep with the finest traditions. If not, sell, rebrand, or do what you have to do, but do not tarnish the Hilton Reputation.

I’ve stayed here many times and everything was fine but this time the hotel decided to charge for parking and they never told me about it , I got an email receipt for an additional $36 for parking . I travel a lot over 6 weeks of vacation and no hotel has ever charged for parking , this is the first time , this is will be my last time staying at the Hilton . 36 extra dollars charged , no thanks , I’ll stay somewhere else . Why would you charge for parking especially a honors reward member ? Bad for business

I am absolutely appalled by what I heard today. An assistant manager (i’m assuming) was absolutely being so disrespectful, demeaning and rude to a couple other customers. This type of behavior made me not want to even use this hotel and we decided to go to another location. We heard her saying to the customer that she wouldn’t deal with “silliness” when the problem was clearly that the hotel failed their customer. The assistant manager proceeded to laugh at the customer and said they were acting silly. When a business makes a promise to a customer, it is on the business to make things right with the customer. I’m really shocked. Too bad, that type of behavior won’t bring in returning or new customers.

We were willing to pay extra for an early check in and were told about a week before on the phone, “it will be no problem if you call on the same day, they can work with you”! The front desk woman was beyond rude, not once but twice on the phone. It takes NOTHING to be kind. My husband called in the morning to ask about an early check in and the front desk woman said rudely “check in is at 4” and did NOT offer another solution. Funny, we were willing to pay extra if needed. Then I called at around 2:30 and kindly asked if there was any possible way to get an early check in as I have two small boys and they really needed a nap since we had had a long day. I would’ve completely understood if the front desk lady was KIND and CARING in her attitude. I was met with “your room is still being cleaned” in a monotone manner. I then asked “is there anyway you could notify us if the room is cleaned early?” And yet again was met with a monotone and stern “check in is at four”. What a difference it would’ve been if she had been professional and sincere. I was afraid customer service was dead, but luckily we were able to go to another hotel closer to downtown with EXCEPTIONAL customer service and kindness (ALOFT Greenville) and guess what?! We got a room right on the spot. P.S.- my husband had tried to cancel this reservation since the Tuesday before we went (we went on a Saturday) but was ASSURED they would work with us. We were told we COULD NOT get a refund since it was for a specific room (obviously my husband stated on TUESDAY “I made a mistake as I need an early check in BUT was “reassured” then they would work with us).

Everyone there was kind, polite and knowledgeable. Unfortunately no business center so not ideal for business travel. The real… My room had a bug problem… and there is video footage. ICK!
