JustShons Catering & Restaurant is a popular spot located in a repurposed school, with easy parking and a welcoming atmosphere. The food receives high praise, with specific mentions of honey chicken fried to perfection, delicious brussel sprouts, sweet potato casserole, sweet potato crunch, bourbon collard greens, lemon pepper wings, dressing with gravy, and sweet cornbread. The punch and tea are also noted as delicious. The food is described as fresh, seasoned, and cooked really well, with great portion sizes. The aroma is wonderful, and great music plays while dining. Service feedback is mixed; many customers find the staff very nice, professional, and great, with the owner personally checking on guests and even offering a sample of collard greens. However, some reviews mention the service needs to be more organized, with long wait times for dine-in and pick-up, and a need for a better pick-up system and a friendlier cashier. One order noted a mix-up with chicken and waffles, receiving white meat instead of dark. Despite these issues, customers say the food is worth the drive, with many planning to return. Overall, it is highly recommended for its delicious, fresh food and dedicated customer base.
