“I'm originally from south Florida where there's a plethora of great Korean food so I was hesitant to go here. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and there was only one other table. This restaurant is different from other kbbq, you order your meat and they cook it for you which is great for those who don't like having to cook your own food. A typical Korean bbq restaurant there's a grill on every table and you cook your own meat. With the all you can eat option you eat unlimited meat, side dishes, rice, cheesy corn and soup! Everything came out piping hot and fast. The side dishes were super tasty my favorite was the bean sprouts. Service was super fast. Restaurant is very clean has nice kpop music playing in the back. It ended up being around $50 a person with a soft a drink. I can't wait to come back here!“
“While getting lost looking for the Chef 21 that serves Sushi, (my younger brother and I are not familiar with Greenville), we stumbled upon this place. It was probably about a few minutes before closing. The person that served us was very sweet and patient and allowed us so much time to look over the menu and even offered a copy to take home.I got the Lavender milk tea with tapioca, and my brother got the Strawberry tea with strawberry pearls. The drinks were phenomenal. The music is very nice and the server was amazing as well, she even brought the drinks to our table because I was busy taking photos. 10/10 I already told my brother that my next pay check we’ve got to comeback earlier and leave a tip of sorts!“
“I had booked a birthday package for my niece's 21st birthday. It was in the quietest room with lovely directions. The food was excellent, service was excellent and my niece loved the decor and her chocolate cake. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!“
“This is by far one of the most amazing sushi places my church group and I have found!! We go at least once a week now, so much so that even the newer staff know our names and can expect our appetizers. My friends order raw sushi I order cooked and there's always amazing options for all of us--eveh for the vegetarian we have with us! We have never had anything less than a five star experience here!!“
“This place is the best, freshest, family-owned Korean restaurant we’ve ever been to. The service is personable and kind. The restaurant is clean and updated appropriately. The waiters know you by name and remember your order. Your meal is made-to-order with the highest quality meat and freshest ingredients. We’ve come many times and will continue to return.“
“I went today with my gf and we had a lovely time! Stayed for the full 2 hours and ate most things on the menu. The servers were lovely and worked very quickly when they could. The food was sooooooo good, especially the rib eye meat, if you go here for hot pot get the rib eye meat you won't regret it lol. For dessert, I had a lovely fish shaped matcha and red bean ice cream and it was fantastic. If I could rate it more stars I would, this has become one of my favorite restaurants ever ??“
“So this place is like no other around. All dishes are authentic and you can tell they were prepared with love. The waitress may be the best most attentive and efficient of any place I have ever been. And the fried chicken is second to none, I mean OMG incredible!!!!!!“
“I went for a late dinner tonight and after not visiting for 6 months, I'm a little disappointed. The food was good, but not as incredible as it was when we went when I first moved to Greenville. I have eaten at Chun Chun five or six times, but not recently until tonight. The chicken on both the Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken was unevenly cut, so some of it was cooked but not crisp at all and some smaller pieces were so overcooked the meat was tough. The sauces and the fried rice were a little underseasoned. The fried chicken wings were overfried and not super enjoyable to eat. The fried dumplings were excellent as always. The service was average. We had to flag the waitstaff down a couple times for drinks, which is fine, but they didn't fill all of our drinks each time, which was odd. The waitstaff was nice and polite, but failed to ask us what size we wanted for our entrees and automatically entered them as large unknown to us until the bill came. She also didn't ask if we wanted to split the bill, which was inconvenient (there was a couple and a friend - we ended up settling it through cash app).As for atmosphere, the building has quite an echo to it, so when the restaurant's music was playing, it seemed quite loud and it was difficult to converse over it. It also meant other diners were speaking louder than normal too. The decorations are absolutely beautiful, but there is a lot of decor.Overall, I definitely will be checking back in to see if they continue to decline in quality or if tonight was a fluke. Chun Chun used to be my favorite asian food restaurant in Greenville, and I hope they stay that way. YMMV if you dine in for lunch.“
“The wife and I came here for lunch. The wife ordered the firecracker corn dog with the garlic parmesan fries. The fries were not fresh but they did not skip or on the garlic parmesan topping. Her corn dog was crunchy hot and sweet. I got the flamin Hot corn dog with the snow sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were very fresh as well as covered in syrup tops with powdered sugar. My corn dog was crunchy and spicy. Very good, would recommend. The only thing I didn't like about this place, is it in the middle of the mall in the food court.“
“Update: Gave it another try tonight. They've changed the menu and the time I've ordered for years upon years was no longer the same. The menu did not indicate a change and the description still matches what I used to get. The bulgogi sliders are now bulgogi patty with cheese and onion sliders. Completely different texture, flavor, etc. (and not nearly as good imo). The rest of the food was great and our waitress was really nice.Food was great, but service was SLOW. It wasn't remotely busy or full, but it took forever to get our food, our checks... Just no reason for it other than maybe not having enough servers for a half-filled restaurant.“
“Such a sweet little place. Fresh and clean, with simple, tasteful decor and delicious snacks. The boba milk tea is delicious! I tried the mango with whole milk and half sugar, and it was perfect. They also have fruit tea selections and multiple boba flavors. Today they had six different flavors of donuts, and the churro donut was so light and fresh. They also have corn dogs if you're hungry for something a little more substantial, as well as frozen treats. Service was fast and friendly!“
