Lewis Barbecue Greenville

This is our new go to spot for BBQ!

I visited Lewis Barbecue in Greenville and the food was absolutely fantastic. The pulled pork was pulled to perfection and the brisket just melted in my mouth. Every bite was packed with flavor, tender, and cooked to perfection. I honestly couldn’t imagine anything better.

The location is perfect and easy to get to. Although it’s next to a busy road, it is still very enjoyable to sit outside.

The workers were way too friendly — in the best way possible — and clearly enjoyed what they were doing.

If you’re looking for a good barbecue place, this is the one to choose.

The real deal. The brisket and ribs were perfectly cooked and delicious. I highly recommend. It’s unfortunate we live in Atlanta.

We enjoyed a late lunch. We shared 1/2lb chopped pork & 1/2lb chopped brisket, potato salad, mac n cheese, and a banana pudding. Everting was soooo good ! There was a line but it went pretty quick and definitely worth the wait !

The brisket is some of the best I’ve ever had. All the sides and the banana pudding were top notch. Will be back again.

Stopped here while on a quick visit and it was absolutely amazing. The parking wasn’t great because it was so packed it was difficult to park. But the food was amazingly delicious. Had brisket, pulled pork and sausage.

Yes, Lewis BBQ lives up to the hype.
If your lucky there may be a small line to get in.
I've seen it out the door before!
On my particular visit, I just beat the crowd! Maby like six people in line.
I ordered the brisket sandwich and it comes with one additional meat. I chose the hot guts sausage. Corn casserole (I think) as the side.
Also 1 lb of brisket to take home. I didn't get a picture of the brisket though. And yes it was delicious!
The brisket sandwich needed no sauce. And the sausage was wonderful! I could order that by itself!
I'm looking forward to visiting again and you should too.

Amazing bbq. So much we used them to cater our daughter “I Do BBQ” wedding shower. They did a wonderful job. Came fully prepared with everything, set it up and even had some extra stuff needed. I highly recommend them for both food and catering.

Best bbq i have ever had. Brisket is amazing

A travel all over, and this is one of the best barbecue restaurants I've ever ate at. Great food and all of the sides are amazing! My biggest problem was looking around and trying to make up my mind because everything looked so good.

Nice place. Boring food. Brisket was dry, no smoke ring in center. Turkey bland. Sausage fantastic. Sides run of the mill. Buccees has better brisket and turkey. Very disappointed. Had high hopes for this place.

I had a friend from Mississippi, who travels the country as an Adjuster tell me Lewis Barbecue was the best he and his wife have ever had, so I had to I try it since I live in Greenville now. After coming on a Saturday afternoon, I have to agree. Great location, with lots of covered outdoor picnic table dining, gorgeous entryway to the main restaurant with a large bar. Line was to the door when I walked in, but moved quickly, and then you meet your meat cutter. Very knowledgeable and offers samples if you would like to try any brisket or other meats, pick a few sides that will fill up your tray and you are on your way. The great atmosphere got me in the mood, so I ordered a sweat tea instead of water and it was delicious.
The food was great, not sure what I like the best but the corn pudding was gone and I have a small amount of left overs for later of the rest, but what was even better than the corn pudding was the service. The ladies at the bar are so friendly and helpful, Sarah and GG. I will be back, this is a great place to take family, business associates and friends.

A good solid place. Meats are great. Sides also solid. Only negative was the banana pudding. It was awful. Just a light cookie crumble on top. Zero bananas or cookies in the pudding. I’ll be back but I’m never ordering the banana pudding again.
