We had breakfast here for our anniversary and it was perfect! The food was amazing! The French toast sticks were the best I've ever had! I have the Maverick biscuit with chicken and it was so good! The biscuits were homemade, fresh, BIG, and delicious! The philly omelette tasted so good and the home fries were seasoned perfectly! Our waiter Josh was so nice, the manager (I forgot her name) was so pleasant, and the chef/owner Sergio stopped by out table! Such a nice guy and sweet team! I would definitely be back at this location!!!

This was reheated Sysco slop at best. My girlfriend is gluten-free, and while they claimed to have gluten-free biscuits, I can assure you that the Play-Doh that she was served was not edible. Additionally, the manager spent a large part of our dining experience yelling at her employee Jennifer and her other employee, Justin. Our server was inattentive and forgot to refill our water, so we were left incredibly thirsty, as the biscuits were dry and cakey. The fried chicken was soggy instead of crispy, and the hashbrowns were very clearly reheated. Would not recommend, incredibly disappointing experience.

We had such a great experience at Maverick’s biscuit brunch! The food was excellent—everything came out fresh and full of flavor. The biscuits were perfectly fluffy and well-buttered, the grits had just the right creamy texture, and the chicken and bacon were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and inviting, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal.

A special shout-out to our waitress, Rory. She was fantastic—always quick, attentive, and consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She really made the whole experience even better with her great service.

Overall, an amazing brunch spot with excellent food, a calming vibe, and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Maverick Biscuit in Cherrydale did not come to play. Their biscuits are massive, fluffy, and honestly deserve their own zip code. The grits? Packed with flavor and so good I considered writing them a thank-you note. Everything came out hot and fresh, which is exactly how brunch should be. And let’s talk about the bottomless mimosas—only $17! That’s basically a Greenville miracle. Our waitress, Rory, was the cherry on top—welcoming, kind, and super attentive without ever hovering. If you’re not brunching here yet, you’re doing brunch wrong.

Was looking for another breakfast place that didn’t require far travel or going downtown and man oh man Maverick Biscuit did not disappoint! We’ve been to the Wade Hampton location before but this location has way more space. Our waitress Kat was fabulous, very attentive, and super friendly. We got the Bulls Bay and Orange Walk Chicken Biscuits and wowzers they were GREAT. We’ll definitely be coming back and adding this to our list of “go-to’s!” Also very reasonably priced!

Good food (expect a big meal) and solid jam bar for the biscuits. However, the service was the stand out! Our waiter, Q, was excellent - friendly and attentive. Both the manager and owner came over to talk to us. Really impressed with how much the people working here care about the quality of food and service they provide.

Absolutely fabulous! As a self proclaimed home chef who was raised by a restauranteur and just moved to the area - I came here BOTH Saturday and Sunday and was just so impressed (and that never happens) Emily whose last week is this week go send her some love and Que what can I say some people just have that magic and he definitely has it! 10/5 fabulous no other words!

I got the biscuit bacon egg and cheese and my friend and I shared the French toast sticks. The biscuit literally turned into a plate of crumbs the second I touched it, no flavor. The French toast sticks tasted like cold fried dough. Won’t be back

It shares a space with Travinia and the signage is confusing so it was kind of hard to find. Got the eggs Benedict and the eggs were overcooked with solid yolks. Biscuit was cold and hot eggs and sauce served on top of cold biscuit. They had a self service trolly with jams and jellys and toppings but it was dirty and all the items were 1/3rd full. We were the first customers that morning so the trolly should’ve been full and freshly stocked. I think they just keep rolling out the same trolly they use every day without re-stocking and adding fresh ingredients. Gross. My boyfriend’s omelette was good and the hash browns were the kind you get frozen at the grocery store but those are my favorite so I was happy with them. Server was nice. Probably won’t go back. Almost $50.00 for two breakfasts with no alcohol
