Each build your own pizza starts with the classic Mellow pizza crust, red sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Select ingredients to build your own pizza. Ingredients can be added to the whole pizza or just one-half of the pizza. Thin crust, gluten-free crust (available for small pizzas only) and vegan cheese also available.

We ordered take out. I myself wasn’t a huge fan of the pizza a so felt it was too dry. (My fault though because I ordered regular sauce, lol). My husband however really enjoyed Mellow Mushroom because they are one of the few that offer dairy/gluten free options. He was actually able to feel normal for once and partake in pizza night with us! And he seemed to really enjoy his pizza as well. So for that and the thought that MM puts in to serving all individuals- I had to give...

We love the veg out pizza at Mellow Mushroom (MM). We have eaten at MM restaurants in Charlotte, NC; Mt. Pleasant, SC; Charleston, SC, and Wilmington, NC.
We will only order take out from this Greenville restaurant until the inside furniture is repaired, the male greeter is coached for providing proper service with a smile and friendly approach.

I’m giving it 3 stars only because of my allergy experience. I have celiac disease and made sure to mention it when I ordered, asking for my order to be marked accordingly. The menu gives the impression that it’s a safe place for people with gluten issues, but I watched my pizza being made with ingredients that had touched other pizzas. When I realized what was happening, I had to ask if that was mine.
