The food was great and our server was great as well but the timing of our food was not. We ordered the Edamame, mushrooms and two rolls. They brought out the mushrooms and one roll then the edamame. We had to ask about the second roll. The music was also very loud and it was pop music. A background lounge music would be more fitting for an expensive place like this.

We celebrated our anniversary and everything from the moment we walked in was incredible. Josh was attentive and truly went the extra mile. I had the best sushi I’ve had since being in Japan. Will be back for sure!!

Reservation at 7:15pm. Finally sat at 7:28. Drinks served 7:50pm. Venue was extremely noisy. Wood ceiling, wood floor. We were not impressed until our server, Sierra (like the beer), arrived. She was fantastic! Kind, attentive and recommended some delicious options. She made our experience worth it. The noise was so distracting conversation was difficult. I understand a lively environment, but this wasn't that. Just reverberating noise.

Yesterday was my second visit to Oku and both times I was blown away! The food is incredible and the servers recommendations always are a hit!! I definitely recommend this spot! Our server Jaden last night was so friendly and helpful, we really appreciated him! I wish I could remember the girls name from my first visit but she was also wonderful!

Let me preface this by saying this first, the first time I came here it was the best service I ever received and the food was amazing!The second time I came in (Monday April 8) I was so disappointed in how we were attended too. I am a server myself and I always have patience for other servers. We only say our server 2 times during this process. We waiting 20 minutes for drinks, 35 minutes for half of tables food and another 30 minutes for our side. It was not very busy so I didn’t understand the wait up, but I tried to be patient. Our group was completely finished and ready for the check when we got the other food. It was decent sushi but not as good as the last time. I hate complaining but this experience did not meet any of the expectations I had from the previous. Our server finally came back after 45 minutes with one check, because she didn’t bother to ask how we spilt the checks. And then went to split them. We all still tipped 20% because we all work in the industry but was super disappointed in this. I am willing to go back but do not want this experience again. Because I had such a good one the first time.

O-Ku was a phenomenal experience. I am very particular about sushi and fish quality and O-Ku surpassed my expectations. We got the crème de la crème nigiri, 2x of the falls, 2x of the goat, a rainbow roll, and truffle butter edamame. Service was good as well, just make sure you make reservations ahead of time.
Dined here for the first time tonight and was impressed. The ambience is nice, the sushi was delicious, and our server, Sierra, was very friendly.My partner and I shared the truffle edamame, and the following sushi rolls: the GOAT, the paladin, and volcano. My favorite was the GOAT and my partner's was the volcano.

The quality is unmatched in this area, my opinion personally.The staff is knowledgeable and does an exceptional job of taking care of you from start to finish.Went for a dinner party, so we shared different things, I think sharing gives the best experience.My favorite rolls were “Rainbow”, Reedy River”, and “The Falls”.I did try these as well but the above were just better. “The upstate”, “Greenville goddess” and “The Goat”Look forward to going again.
