Rita's is a step...no, two steps above shaved ice. Because the juice IS the ice! Instead of artificially flavored syrup poured over shaved ice Rita's is fruit and juice that's frozen then shaved. You have to stop when you're near one.

If you're looking for the Italian ice that stores sell with that weird thick syrup, you've come to the wrong place. This Italian ice is basically a super fine and flavorful icee, which is what I love. It's pretty empty here. Every time I've been there, I can go straight to the counter and order.
