Just had a birthday dinner for 12 adults and three children and it was AMAZING!! Great private dining area More food than any of us could eat. Everything was cooked to perfection. Best service in Greenville. Travis was outstanding and anticipated our every need. Perfect in every way

Great food and atmosphere. If you visit this location ask Hosea as your server. This young man is awesome and attentive. He will far surpass your needs.

Last night was New Year’s Eve I made reservations at Ruth’s Chris, however I made it at the wrong location for our family of 8, our special thank and gratitude to Jordan Gentry General Manager for saving the night and she made an extraordinary special accommodations for us. Myself and my family are very grateful. Thank you.

Ok, that steak should not have been 68 dollars. For the price this location was probably a 3 star. I added a star back because the lobster Mac and cheese was so so good, so 4 stars. You have to get it. And I will add another star because I saw my boi Noah, shout out to him for doing great job running food to and fro. Also the waiter gave us a “complimentary” (we learned this is an expensive sounding word for “free”) cheese cake. So that was stellar as we were celebrating. But the actual steak was incredibly overpriced, I seriously think I could have done as good a job for 25. Atmosphere was 5/5 such a vibe. Great job, but lower those steak prices 15-20 bucks.

Full transparency; went for a work holiday party. Food took a whole, was luke warm at best, and the steaks were average. Will go back for a formal dinner to see if it was just a bad night.

I hate writing reviews when things don’t go as planned. First, I’ve been to many Ruth Chris’s over the years in multiple states. This was my first time I’ve been to this location. We had reservations and were seated in a timely manner but from there the rest of the evening took forever. We came at 650 and didn’t eat until around 8. Then it took long to get our bill and get checked out. I sent my wife out earlier to get the car from valet because we had to pick up our kids and she waited in the car for over 10 minutes after we waited even longer before she went out.

The waiter was a little condescending at the beginning was overall nice after that but just slow. Maybe he was overwhelmed with a larger group in the middle? I’m not sure. The man who brought our food was also condescending. Little sarcastic comments that just weren’t right for this type of restaurant.

Music was pop/rock which was weird for the environment. Should be more romantic or classical.

Food was okay. Steak was actually good. It was seasoned and cooked well. The sides…not too much. The baked potato was undercooked and the Brussels sprouts were a little cold by the time they came out. On of the loafs of bread was cold in the middle.

I’m glad at least the steak was good but it wasn’t enough to want to come back. We went to chophouse 47 a few weeks ago and it was 10 out of 10. Just very different experience. I also love the peddler as well.

Again, no one was blatantly rude or anything like that just inappropriate for the type of restaurant and environment. Overall we were there for over 2 hours to eat and didn’t get to do anything else downtown because we needed to get our kids from sitter.

My family and I had an amazing Christmas dinner, thanks to our server Allison! Despite the chaos of a CRAZY packed restaurant, she was attentive, efficient, and incredibly kind. She made us feel like her top priority, ensuring our meal was perfect. The food was phenomenal although took a little longer due to the holiday. Allison truly made our holiday special, thank you!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A HOLIDAY! THEY CAN NOT HANDLE THE CAPACITY! THEY RUINED OUR CHRISTMAS MEAL!

We frequently go here, and usually it's a great time. However, on ALL holidays they are not able to keep up with the larger crowds, We went on Thanksgiving, terrible. We went on Christmas, horrific!

Painfully obvious that they are in a panic and unable to offer any quality whatsoever. They are beyond short staffed, they are struggling hard!

Jordan is working super hard! Jordan was working the line in the kitchen trying to keep things in order.

Adam is also working super hard! He was also in the kitchen, making sure everything he was working on was perfect.

However, these two managers CAN NOT do it alone, it's not their fault. They should not be expected to run the entire operation there.

Every single table there was having an issue. Nothing but sad faces from customers everywhere you looked, I've never seen anything like it!

Food, ICE COLD. Service, 25 MINUTES FOR BREAD. Attitude of servers, PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE.

Our meal and our night? Ruined.

Although seafood tower was ordered at 2:30, we got the melting butter, and 55 minutes later it showed up. Talk about MAJOR delay. You'd think they were going to the ocean to get them.

The Lobster was tough. They served the lobster knuckle which we couldn’t open. The crab was good and shrimp were OK too. Not worth an hour wait.

We had Filet mignon and garlic roasted sea bass which were ok.
The steak was over cooked on one end and done perfectly on the other end. The creamed spinach were good.

We’ve been to a few Ruth Chris in New York, New Jersey and Cherokee, North Carolina and California and I swear I always get the fish and it never tastes like this fish did or served on such a small plate. I know it’s the holidays and they may be shorted a dishwasher but serve on normal size plates, please.

So we overheard there was a fight in the kitchen and apparently the chefs were throwing dishes at each other hence the small dinner plate.

We got lucky to get the last window table.

All in all, we hit the restaurant on an off day. We will not order the fish again or go on Christmas.

First off I want to say I didn’t appreciate being lied to by your hostess yesterday . She was wearing a leopard print shirt and had long dark hair didn’t catch a name . She had an attitude with me from the moment we walked in . She lied to me and told me our window table was being cleaned as speak but yet another hostess lead us to an entirely different table and when I asked why our window table wasn’t available she walked off and left us in the dinning room standing around . When we walked back to the hostess stand she ignored us and when I finally said something she turned around and started snapping off again telling me it would be 30 minutes and to go find a place to sit . It was 15 minutes later and a waiter came out into the lobby looking for us and sat us at the original table . Not sure what the issue was with her but she needs an attitude adjustment . I did not come there on Christmas to listen to that and then be told they had 300 more guests coming and can’t accommodate everyone . I’m sorry but I wasn’t aware that was my issue . Your waiter was the one who saved this entire situation. He was the one who got the table ready and seated us himself . We come here multiple times a year and have never been treated this way . We will not be back to this location !!

My wife and I visited this location and had an excellent experience. Our waiter, David was a pleasure to have and he was very engaging in our conversations. The food was excellent, and prepared to our liking. We have been to several Ruth’s Chris locations, and this one surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be coming back.

We were visiting from out of town and chose to have Thanksgiving dinner there . The salads were brought out and one person had to ask where their gumbo was after everyone had eaten and their salad plates were removed & the waiter finally brought it out. The rice in the gumbo was uncooked and crunchy. Horrible gumbo. The steaks are overdone, the broccoli looked yellow/brown and the mashed potatoes were cold. Really disappointing considering the prices. There were five of us and we spent $575 plus a generous tip since it was a holiday to have an overall bad thanksgiving meal.
Additionally, having never been there before, figuring out how to get inside was difficult. The signage throughout and around the building is not clear at all. We walked in a maze and multiple elevator rides trying to figure out where to go, along with other people going there too.
