This was our first experience eating at a Ruth Chris restaurant. Our waiter, Hosea Mattison made our evening enjoyable. He was kind and efficient and made us feel welcomed. Even when the kitchen seemed a bit behind he kept checking with us and assuring us our food was coming. The food was delicious and plated nicely.

This was my first visit to Ruth's Chris ever. I have been wanting to for years. Today is our 40th wedding anniversary and it was totally amazing! The food was So Delicious! Patrick, our server went so far above and beyond to make our evening absolutely wonderful! He is so professional, so kind and just the best server we have ever had! I highly recommend you eat here and ask for Patrick. He will absolutely make your evening the best ever! ❤️

My husband and I visited here for the first time over the weekend. We were looking forward to a nice higher end restaurant and dining experience based on their website and other customer reviews. I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed in a dining experience. The food was low quality (think Applebee's, honestly, Applebee's blows this place out of the water), served on chipped dirty platters, and severely overpriced. We paid just as much at Chophouse 47 as we did to eat here which was a complete waste of $250.00. To charge what they charge I was shocked that the tables were dirty, glasses smudged, and menus sticky and in desperate need of replacement. The hostess and wait staff were friendly, but you could tell they didn't take their job seriously and had no real training from their employer (checking smart watches, goofing around in the dining area, etc.). Nothing wrong with that type of environment if you're at Ruby Tuesdays or Applebee's and not paying an arm and a leg for your dinner. To sum it all up, Ruth's Chris is a low-mid grade chain restaurant masquerading in a hotel as something more than your average hotel bar with some low quality food. My advice to upper management and owners would be to either up your game and become the restaurant you advertise as or adjust your prices to what they should be. If I pay $25 for mashed potatoes they should be the best mashed potatoes ever and not reheated powdered garbage. My advice for anyone reading this is if you like to throw your money away go here. Otherwise, I highly suggest Rick Irwin's or Chophouse 47. Basically, anywhere but here. Run, run away!

Service was fantastic and the food was the best! Sea bass and filet was tremendous and perfectly prepared. The seafood tower is a MUST! The manager Kirk was so kind and generous. Thanks again. Can't wait to go back!

Best steak I’ve ever had.Expensive but worth every dime.I love steak. Always have.But this was beyond what I thought a steak could be, in terms of texture and flavor.The kind of steak you could see yourself settling down with.I ordered the ribeye and everyone else got the NY Strip. I swapped a cut from mine with one of the guys’ and they both were spectacular.Medium cook was perfect.The window wall overlooking the river was beautiful.It was a very luxurious experience, which we all felt a little guilty to have without our wives.Guess I’ll have to go again soon so I can take mine.For her sake, of course.All the thumbs up.Parking: We weren’t aware that the restaurant was on the second floor of the hotel so we had more trouble than we should have getting parked and finding the place.Just park and enter as if you’re going to check in the hotel and ask if you’re unsure.

The food was excellent. We had the Spicy shrimp Appetizer, crabcakes, Caesar Salad, wedge salad, and bbq shrimp. All very tasty. Only downfall was we sat at the bar and service was slow. We got the drinks right away but Next time we will sit at a table because they seem to take meal orders and serve the tables faster. We sat for about 20 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted to order food.The atmosphere was great! And the location was good. Valet parking is $10. And access to the Rooftop lounge is easy, literally steps away via elevator. Overall, it was a great night with good food. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we waited so long before our meal order was taken.

We have dined at Ruth Chris locations dozens of times and have had this GVL location around 3 times. The beginning of our experience was definitely off to a rocky start. We had to wait 45 minutes for our cocktails and received our salads first that we had split between the couples. The salad came out already split and the guy tried splitting it again right in front of us. It was really strange, impossible to split due to a ginormous piece of lettuce being half the plate, and not a sturdy surface for something like that. We waited a long time and didn’t receive bread. HOWEVER, it was my dads birthday and we asked to speak to a manager to express our concerns and were very polite about it explaining that this is not a typical experience here and basically wondering if the remainder of the night would continue with this sort of pacing. Her hospitality was exceptional and she went absolutely above and beyond to correct the issues we were having. The rest of our meal was nothing short of enjoyable and incredible. She truly exceeded our expectations and handled everything with grace and professionalism. The 5 stars is thanks to her because we couldn’t have asked for a better experience even after the rough beginning. Thank you so much! wish I caught her name, but highly recommend.

We booked a private dining room to celebrate a family birthday. Of course, we knew the food would be excellent, but on top of that, our waiter (Kolby Carignan) made the whole evening wonderful. We had the room for three hours and he worked with us to spread the dining experience evenly over the entire time, going at our pace, leisurely serving one course after the next. I couldn't recommend this young man's friendliness, demeanor and service more highly. It was as if we were entertained by an old friend. (He's the one pictured in the middle with the kids.) Thank you all!
