Ruth's Chris Steak House

This has been our go to restaurant when passing through Greenville plus it's around the corner from Costco. Last night the usual warm bread was cold or room temperature, they brought out a loaded baked potato when we ordered only butter. It was quickly replaced but that potato was slightly undercooked with a cold hard brick of butter on top. Finally the $65 NY sirloin was perfectly cooked but had way too much hard fat and gristle. Not worth the price. Staff was engaging and friendly. They almost make up for the poor food / value shortcomings.

It was a great experience! Our server Mat was amazing and the whole staff was involved in making it the best.

Love our time there on Thanksgiving Day. We had lunch there and it was awesome!! Zach our waiter was great too!!🎉

Celebrated my anniversary here and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to all of the staff from the beginning of being greeted by two ladies and and all other staff. Thanks to our service Brittney who was GREAT !!!!

Service was excellent. Staff were super Friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was wonderful. Sides were delicious. Steak must have been from an old, angry well caged cow. Not tge quality and tenderness of previous experiences with Ruth Chris.

Pricy for what you get, food was poorly cooked, we have one filet that came cold inside. I asked for a $72 Ribeye that was burned outside and rare (not medium as asked) inside.

Everything we had was delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and very tender. On top of the great food, we had a fantastic waiter, Lee. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very friendly!

Lee was a great waiter and very personable. He helped us with the menu and made our anniversary dinner very special! Food was great also! Thanks Lee!

Steak had no flavor, crust or anything special about it. Crabs cakes were definitely the best part.( appetizer, that's the sad part). Lobster was overcooked. Mashed potatoes was potatoes in a bowl with nothing added to them. I swear this is my first review I ever have posted but when you pay that money it should be better than that. Very sad. Just try!

I recently dined at Ruth’s Chris and had an unfortunate experience that left me feeling deeply disappointed. During my visit, I noticed that the manager made a point to personally greet each table — with one exception: mine. I was the only Black guest in the front dining area and while every other table received a warm welcome, I was completely overlooked.

Whether intentional or not, this behavior was noticeable, disheartening, and unacceptable. Every guest deserves to be treated with the same level of respect and hospitality, regardless of race or background. Dining at a high-end restaurant like Ruth’s Chris comes with the expectation of equal and inclusive service for all patrons. I will add that my waitress Megan was the absolute best and I do not hold any of this against her but I will not me back .

Promptly sat at or tacked upon arriving. Staff was attentive and engaging. Food was awesome and did not disappoint. Management even stopped by out take to welcome us and make sure things were good.

Rude management and staff. I do not recommend this location.

The restaurant was unprepared to deliver food based on their gluten free menu. Hopefully they make the needed food prep and service changes before someone gets sick.

Service was poor. Used dishes were not removed from table even when next course served Ordered calamari with no sauce and it was served with sauce all over it. Waitress would disappear for long periods of time. Had to wait a really long time for dessert. Bill had charges that were more than should have been and server had to correct. Overall it was not a good experience and for the price it should be a very pleasant experience
