I looked online for the menu of Stax Original before going there and specifically asked if there were gluten free options. Online said yes, there were. Got there only to discover that is not true. They do NOT have ANY bread options that are gluten free.

This place is amazing! Had one of the best omelettes I've ever had here. Cool old spot in Greenville and definitely a vibe and a meal not to miss. I will say lines can be a thing but moves pretty quickly in the whole esp Sunday morning ish.

They have a lot or Meat and 2 or 3 competition in the Greenville. It is hard to rate which one I like better. Appreciate having a good variety of like restaurants to choose from. Always good comfort food ... and healthy veggies.
Parking: Parking can be difficult at high noon.

F YEAH GREAT FOOD
What a great place to eat, ran by a great group of people.
I've eaten here for over 39 years and no joke it's been great every time I've been there or can't think of a bad experience within 39 years of gluttoning myself at this fine establishment.
Stax is ran by an outstanding group of people and owned by the same local family that started it, believe its the 2nd generation running this location presently and they're living up to the standards and the bar the first generation set! If I could give 6 stars I'd give it 6 bc it's one of the best original local restaurants Greenville SC has to offer.
