Unfortunately they have drastically changed their steak frites. The steak was inedible because of the toughness and fat content. And the fries are no longer those delicious golden brown ones. They are the basic fry you can get anywhere else that are just ok.
The staff were all excellent. Darlene Mann-Clark's wine presentation was fun, informative and knowledgeable. The wines that she chose were all really good and the variety was excellent. The snacks that accompanied the tasting were mostly pretty good. We had attended a wine and food pairing prior to this and we preferred that to just the snacks with wine at nearly the same price. However, we purchased some wine from each event.
We had two wonderful entrees-- the salmon and pasta. The fried apple pie was beyond delish. My husband's bacon old fashioned was one of the best he's had. The bartender made me a blackberry spritzer so good it should be on the menu. The only negative was the restaurant was chilly and where we sat at a 2 top against the wall was freezing. The lovely waitress had the AC turned down or off and we eventually warmed up but it came back on with dessert. Maybe the kitchen staff...
