The stecca bread is good right out of the oven and then it gets hard quickly-maybe good for crotons. Not sure what the hype is around it. This place also has very high prices but doesn't pay farmers hardly anything.Parking: Parking is a hassle most of the time.Kid-friendliness: Playground

Top-tier grocery store and market with an abundance of local purveyors. Incredible outdoor coffee shop with a great atmosphere.

I had a very bad experience with a staff member here today. Normally they’re quite kind so I gave two stars but seriously this guy, who I’ve never seen before and I come all the time, was seriously rude to me and given the prices here, the least they can do is offer good customer service. This guy had the worst attitude and was so unbelievably unkind. I wish I had gotten his name.

I love it here. Great stuff, great quality, BUT there is one issue I have and that’s that if you order a coffee or something like it, you’ll be waiting 15+ minutes on your order. If it’s super busy, you’ll be waiting 30 or so minutes.

This would be such an awesome place to eat, if all of their bakery and premade items weren’t made with inflammatory genetically modified canola oil. Kind of weird to use local farm ingredients then ruin it with inflammatory seed oils.

Best produce around!! Moving from Kentucky to South Carolina, I did not have a single good tomato the first 8 years of living here. We went to Swamp Rabbit Cafe last week and got a variety of tomatoes and they were better than the Kentucky homegrown tomatoes we used to have. I think that says a lot about the produce of this place. I’ve added a picture of the beautiful tomatoes we got and some of the fresh mozzarella we got there as well. But, it’s not just the tomatoes! Everything the store offers is unique and exquisite. Their made fresh daily stecca bread is a must!! Also pictured. There is outdoor seating along the swamp rabbit trail and even a little fenced in play area for toddlers. Great for family gatherings, a pit stop off the swamp rabbit trail, or even a coffee date. The only thing con is poor parking.Parking: Parking is free, but fills up quickly! Parking spots are also pretty tight and not easy to get in and out of.Kid-friendliness: There is a cute little fenced in play area for toddlers!

I was so excited to try their Brazilian cheese puffs. I was met with cheese puffs sitting out in a basket. Cheese puffs have to be served warm not sitting out and expecting them to taste the same. I was not asked if I wanted the cheese puffs warm. We ordered our food and threw it in the trash. The whole purpose of having a fresh market is to have everything fresh.

I have visited the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery several times since moving to the area last year. I've had breakfast, lunch, smoothies, etc. and it is all consistently top-notch. The market is well stocked with locally-sourced food items, wines, beers, and beauty items. The best part is that it is located right off the Swamp Rabbit Trail, making it safe and convenient to bike or walk to. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and friendly, leashed pets are allowed, there is a designated play area for kids, and there's free WiFi for guests, making it a great place to work or create great reviews and social posts on the spot. There is always a variety of events and activities at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery and you must not leave without a baguette of Stecca bread.Kid-friendliness: Designated play area for kids with toys and seating.

My wife and I are regulars and it’s about time I wrote a review on how much we love this place. We keep coming back every week for the local groceries, the gorgeous atmosphere, and how nice the staff always are. The sandwiches are ABSOLUTELY delicious! We’re currently obsessed with the turkey pesto. Anytime our friends and family are in town, we love taking them here for lunch or dinner!

Are you looking for a healthy place that also functions as a grocery store? Look no further!! Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery offers local produce, meat, and other provisions. In addition to functioning as a grocery store, they also have a cafe. The cafe offers yummy sandwiches and some of which are served on their stecca bread (which is made daily in house). During my most recent visit I enjoyed the turkey pesto sandwich and an ice latte with oat milk. The sandwich was savory, fresh, and left me feeling light. The best part about this cafe is its proximity to the swamp rabbit trial- when you're done with your workout make sure to stop by this joint.
