The Food is Amazing Plenty of Choice's. We decided to Get a Turkey Wing Dinner with Collard Green's, Mac and Cheese, Green Bean's, Fried Okra, and for Dessert we Had Banana Pudding 😋

Goes to the restaurant they have staff sitting outside chilling. Waiter was really rude while trying to place an order over the phone she was annoyed when I asked what meats & sides was available being that they don’t have a menu online nor a website. She went through the list of what’s available super quick then told us to call back when we ready to order & hung up. Got our food the sides tasted like it was left overs from yesterday old and stale we went @12:45 they opened at 12! They are super over priced for this nasty food & horrible service!! I wish Grandmas kitchen was still open my gosh!

I support black owned businesses and my younger brother asked have I I tried this restaurant before I I said no, So he decided for us to come and try your restaurant out you had the fried chicken wings with macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and baked beans I had oxtails collard greens and yams! I can honestly say that the young lady that was taking our order she could have been home hospitable her customer service skills needs to be improved a whole lot and then with the food it needs to be seasoned. I know everybody don’t cook the same so I get that, but I can honestly say that I won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t suggest. Anyone else.

I was super excited to try. The steak ended up being too salty, the macaroni and cheese was stale. The edges were dry and I could tell it was old. It was also expensive and the quality did not meet the price.

I’m a regular here and I get the same thing whenever I come I don’t know who was in the kitchen today but for 16.49 this is the first time I got home to eat and was mad and I live to far out to come right back the gravey was put in a small foam cup and sat in and on top of my food inside the plate the rice wasnt plenty like normal the Mac and cheese has this super weird taste in it idk if it’s old or a different type of cheese idk but it’s nasty the chicken is bland and poorly seasoned only thing good was the yams and cornbread this is one of my favourite places I’m so disappointed smh

Pretty good soul food place. I got the pork chops, mashed potatoes, greens, macaroni and cornbread. They didn't have any banana pudding so that hurt but a great place great food.
I just don't understand how you order a sandwich and they don't put it on bread 😔 Then my fish was burnt 😕

Just moved to the area and was told to try this place. Got the whiteing and three sides. Come hungry because you will get a lot of food. For some reason the whitening had bones and I wasn't too happy with that but otherwise the food was pretty good. Wanted a dessert but they were out of that, would hope next time they will have that.

I ordered two plates cause I wanted some soul food so bad. My first I got the lemon pepper wings with collards, baked beans, broccoli casserole. Second I got croaker fish with Mac and cheese baked beans and broccoli casserole. The wings..they were good but really small. Baked beans good just like I'm used to having them But the broccoli casserole is what passed me off. It was greasy and had a weird taste to it. Worst broccoli casserole every 2nd plate the fish was excellent the collards with the corn bread had me at a choke hold. But of course broccoli casserole I had two servings of it so. I didn't enjoy that. Hope this he'll you decide what to order.
