The food was honestly awful. it was served cafeteria-style in Chinese takeout containers, which was strange to begin with. The corned beef was ice cold, and the shepherd’s pie tasted like a cheap frozen dinner.
The bar itself wasn’t any better. It was dirty, and the bartenders were actually smoking cigarettes behind the bar, which is a clear health code violation. That alone was enough to put me off.

The staff and “regulars” were not kind people. I think this particular group of owner(s), employees and regulars are very prejudiced towards women and the disabled (and maybe a lot more kind of human beings). I personally experienced seeing The Irish Pub force a neurodivergent woman to leave after she stated she wasn’t ok to drink and drive. What did she do “wrong”? She just socialized and spoke her mind.
