This was not our first time trying shawarma. This is definitely a good version. Everyone in our family loved it. For me personally it was a bit over-salted. I would also add some fresh red cabbage, or other fresh veggies.The bread/tortilla/wrap was amazing.The French fries I would not recommend.There is no place to eat, but you can grab some authentic middle Eastern spices, meat, etc in the store.This will definitely be our go to place when we are craving middle Eastern food.
All cities/regions - if lucky - have their great sandwich. Atlanta had the famous Cool Corners Cuban. NJ has the Taylor Ham bfast sammy or a gloppy Turkey Sloppy Joe. Montreal has the smoked meat reminiscent of Katz's pastrami in NYC. Maine, the buttery lobster on a hot dog bun. Greenville finally has a truly great sandwich and that is the Chicken Shawarma from this place. They do not have a big menu but the food is very authentic with all the Middle Eastern flavors. It is located in the back of Holyland Middle-Eastern grocery beside the butcher. So while you wait on your fresh handmade food you can browse and shop for items. All the staff there is very kind as well.
